JUB says Wheatley has accepted the job

Submitted by Erik_in_Dayton on
I can't post a link from my mobile device, but check JUB's twitter feed...No surprise, obviously, but good news nonetheless. For example, Sam Webb said today that he thought Wheatley would make a difference with Weber's recruitment (though not necessarily swing it Michigan's way).

Before star college players jerseys were sold all over I ordered a #6 jersey from eastbay and had Wheatley put on the back. Was rather pissed when the name a number colors were two different shades of maize/yellow. Was beyond pissed, but love that we have Harbaugh and Ty back home where they belong.

My uncle bought me a Wheatley jersey for Christmas one year. I was about ten.
Jersey is an XL.
I was not extremely happy with my new "Michigan dress"
Now it fits, I love it, and still wear it.
Best part? It's a Riddell.
No swoosh, or stripes.

With Harbaugh and his pedigree and the great mixture of guys from the JH coaching tree and Michigan guys from the past and all of their experiences in the NFL and college and great backgrounds in recruiting as well.....we're in for some good times and soon!!!

BTW, Red Robin FTW!!!

Go Blue!!!

I know its only on paper and these guys haven't worked together yet but I'd have a hard time finding a better coaching staff than the one in Ann Arbor right now. Talk about a rock star staff, we got one.

Great hire.

And, I Luv me some JUB and Sam Webb.  Everyone on Michigan Insider, really, Ira, Andy, Marcus, all.  Thanks for more than the news and discussion weekday mornings. Thanks for what you do.

It's in the HOW of what they do.  Engaging, honest.  Inclusive, wide ranging.  Reliable.

Fun.  Is that a bad word?  just plain fun to listen to.  Analytical, intelligent. Passionate at times.  Little crazy at the right time.   Staring at traffic ahead... rather than think about what can't be changed... tune in to WTKA.

Thanks for being there guys!

I was just thinking that when I read your post. I had the game for Playstation 1 and I could never throw it away. I think it is still in a box in my basement with a bunch of CDs I put on itunes. I need to find it and show my kids how awsome he was on the game and still does not compare to his real life runs. That, and show them what video games looked like in the 20th century.

of a Michigan Man. He is in the place he dreamed of as a child and sees football as part of a standard of excellence, a standard that he himself has said is measured in the decades that follow when you see what kind of men your players become. Being a Michigan Man was never about where you came from. Rather than killing the identity we ought to celebrate it...it's what drew Harbaugh home.
