Jourdan Lewis cranky about MSU "That shit irritates me so much"

This is not my argument. I'm not assigning any value judgment on Valenti at all. The poster I replied to said he can't stand the guy. Why would you listen to someone you can't stand is the question/argument.
You're giving reasons for why you listen, and it sounds as though you like him. It makes sense to listen to a guy you find entertaining.
Personally, I do think he's awful. And I don't listen.

To each their own.

I'm going to be sorely disappointed if we don't win by 40 or 50. I think everyone, players included, want to destroy them

It's to humiliate!!
From kickoff off to the final snap destroy them in all facets of the game. Do not let them cross the 50.

are former champions. Already. Week 5 of the B1G season and Sparty is mathematically eliminated at 0-5.

It's hard to tell the difference between our rivals.

You guys know how when sometimes a team is favored in a rivalry game said team doesn't take the other seriously and the underdog wins? In fact you can almost "feel" it happening in the week leading up to the game.
This does not feel like that. This is one of those times it feels like the favored team is mad and ULTRA motivated and the stars are aligning for a kick ass performance.
This "feels" like michigan is going into the game like they are playing an NFL team and not like a heavily favored team...that is a good thing.

It's hard to overlook a rival when they've won 7 of the last 8. Even though we're favored by a lot, I doubt the players see this as a week off.

Agreed. This definitely has a Big Game feel for us . . . for a game that's not a big game at all to anyone else in the country who's observing.

Dantonio failed to take Niccolo Machiavelli's advice: "If an injury has to be done to a man it should be so severe that his vengeance need not be feared."
Harbaugh will not make that mistake.

I'd love to see half of the MSU student section gone by half-time and a majority of UM fans there by the beginning of the 4th Q.

UM hangs at least 50 on MSU
It's a shut out
MSU nows has 6 loses in a row.
Please let it be so.

Does playing angry in football help? Just asking because in nearly every other sport, being angry is usually to your detriment.

or aggression without focus and discipline can cause guys to miss assignments or get out of position. Thankfully with the way Harbaugh is coaching the team, it looks like he's keeping them focused and on task.

We will not take them lightly, we will not overlook this game. Every player on this team has been pissed off for a year, and has eaten shit from this team for several years. I hope we run the ball 50 times until we're up 42-0 in the 4th quarter then we throw deep and go for 2.

And the only loss came during a week when the coaching staff wasn't 100% focused on the game.
I'm so pissed at Durkin for going to Maryland for that interview. All he had to say was that he'd come on Sunday. If they were really interested in him they'd wait for him. I hope we put up 50 on him this year.

What Harbaugh has accomplished already is epic, and I don't believe that word is an exaggeration. He took a talented but disorganized group of guys on a 5-7 team, and built one of the best teams in college football.
Another observation: the B1G is also headed in a good direction for the most part, and the increased level of compeition is attractive to good players.
But no one I can recall has built a program the way Harbaugh has. It's fascinating to watch it happen.
