What kind of pins are used in soup?

As a fun fact, William Howard Taft was a fan of the very soup to which the riddle alludes. Indeed, it was a requirement that the White House chef at the time be able to make it to his liking as well. Of course, the story goes that Taft was a fan of food in general, but he made excellent strides after his term, having lost close 30% of his weight within a year of leaving office.

Another fun fact: he appointed more Supreme Court Justices (six) than any other one-term president in history. Because he himself was appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court after he left the White House, he ended up serving alongside some of the men whom he had appointed to the bench when he was president.

He also hated being president (which explains why his health improved so dramatically after he left the White House) and he was much more proud of his time as a Supreme Court justice. He considered his appointment to the Supreme Court the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, and he later remarked, "I do not remember that I was ever president."

Yeah Buck vs. Bell is bad. Given the time (1925ish) place and ignorance of matters with mental health and how to treat it, a long with so many other things, you kinda see how they get to such a stupid resolution. Not saying it's an excuse but they didn't really know how to treat many things back then. Things that we would consider simpler issues today. Pre-WWII 20th century America is fascinating!

Every time I ever see the name "Frank Gore", my first thought is "The Riddler".  Yeah, I know, The Riddler is Frank Gorshin, not Frank Gore.  But it's better than getting Frank Gore mixed up with the inventor of the internet:

...isn't it?

I hope it is really is Jim typing those tweets, because I love the thought of him talking smack more than the thought of someone else tweeting for him.  Some have speculated that it's his son or some other young GA.

I prefer to think it's Jim sitting alone in a dark room, rocking back and forth, staring intensely at a picture of Urban, with a crazy look on Jim's face.

Local radio was bagging on JH today, likened him to a super hot girl who's crazy as shit. Went on to say they thought he was "drunk" for his intro presser. I really don't remember them talking so much about M football, in February. Good sign.
