It's also classless for him to personally comment on this as Jed didn't post the original pic (we don't even know if Michigan had anything to do with this, and Smith had no clue at the time of his tweet).

Look if you can get by some factual errors and dubious assertions (which as another poster noted, recruiting is 'chock fulla')...It's just a little low rent.
I also tend to agree with GRbluefans perspective of less talk more walk. Well, that an anytime pinky and johnnavarre chime in with an opinion, distance from said opinion, is almost always the prudent course.

Our recruiting hot streak just took a hit...they got Mack. I agree though, we need to stop poking the bear. If we focused all the time spent on stuff like this flyer on making our program better we would be a lot better off IMHO.

What's funny is to think how many high level recruits care much less about winning a College Football Championship than making it to the NFL, and flashing rings doesn't retort the essence of the flyer.
What it looks like is a coach making a few hundred grand a year flashing bling earned from the hard work of kids who aren't paid barely a thing; conversely, the flyer simply states the fact that Fisch and the staff has the NFL experience that will help not only get you to the next level but succeed as well.
What'll be really funny is when, during recruit visits, Smith asks the prospect if they want to see his rings. In response the kid says:
"No thanks coach I already saw them when you put'm on Twitter, what I'd like to see is how you're gonna help me drafted in the first three rounds."
How exactly does Fisch take credit for derrick mason being good? That guy had 1000+ yards the 4 years prior to being coached in Baltimore. But fisch is going to act like he is the coach that made him good? I think the flyer makes us look dumb. Especially if the recruit that receives it is showing it to the ohio state coaches. Not a fan
One thing that Fisch inarguably has on him is that beautiful head of hair.
I swear I remember everyone this fired up about Brady Hoke too. So I can only imagine how fired up you all must be with Harbaugh at the helm. This 7 maybe 8 win season will shut you up. Actually no it probably wont, because "Harbaugh needs to get his players in the system" just like how Hoke had to get his players, and Rich Rod had to get his players. Blah blah blah. Hoke got good players, there should be no excuses.
