This is incredible news! Aside from the offense's development over the course of the year, he has been a tremendous recruiter. Presently, he is #3 on 247 amongst all recruiters.

I think this is great. After all the stuff we've heard over the past year about how difficult Harbaugh can be to work for/with, I think this says a lot about Harbaugh and Jedd Fisch. From all of the articles and social media stuff, it seems like they really like working together. This is gonna be a fun ride for the foreseeable future.

He probably can be difficult, but if a coach has the personality and ability, then he will thrive. If not, he will be castoff. I remember reading an interview with David Shaw that somewhat intimated this.

Not sure why fans need to believe that Harbaugh is some cuddly nice guy. I honestly don't care if he is or not. UM paid him because he's a great, great football coach not because he's a cuddly nice guy.

I don't pretend to have the pulse of all Michigan fans everywhere, but I'd be surprised if "fans need to believe that Harbaugh is some cuddly nice guy". I would guess that most fans are like you and don't care whether he's a cuddly nice guy. I think most fans want a head coach that wins. I just like how this flies in the face of those BS articles that were trying to make him look like a maniac.

And the bad special teams pre-Baxter had to do with the coaches pre-Baxter. I liked Baxter, but there is a reason that less than 1% of college FB programs have a dedicated special teams coach -- it CAN be done as a collaborative effort by other coaches. It is affected by effort and focus when you don't have a dedicated coach. I don't think either effort or focus will be issues for a Harbaugh coached team.

He did wonders with the receivers this past season particularly with Chesson. He has also been a force of a recruiter as Rivals has him ranked #3 nationally and #1 in the B10.
