I'm a little surprised it took a whole day for a post like this to go up haha. COngratulations to Mr. Ryan, looking forward to seeing him for the next few years.

Well deserved. Despite his "freshman-ness" at some points throughout the year, he has shown some incredible promise. I haven't seen a player with a nose for the ball like him in a while, and hopefully he can continue progressing into (real?) All-American form.

I went to high school with him. He is one awesome guy to know and he will be devoted to the cuase of Michigan football for the next three years. Great to see some recognition for him.

Rivals has Molk as a 3rd team. Bullshit!

How is a Walter Camp All-American a third team guy. Rivals fail.

Ya. I loved their reasoning behind putting Georgia's guy as number 1: the offensive rush attack improved 30 yards from last season. Then Konz as 2nd who missed 3 games. Idiots. If you ever look at their power rankings, they don't really objectively rate players; just handpick their top-ranked guys and then sit there and claim they are unbiased based on the fact they move some talented MAC or MW players into their rankings. I really tend to wonder about credibility at times.

Sky's the limit for this kid. Some people are born playmakers and he's one of em.

Double post but you can't blame me. Double jeopardy.

Could someone help me find the appropriate setting for my outrage meter, 1-10, with no Blake Countess on this list? I don't know much about these other CBs.

He only started I believe 6 games.
24 solo tackles, 8 passes defended and 1 FF begs to differ. He comes up wiht a pick 6 i think hes on bthis team and he was close.
FWIW Roby had 31 Solos, 5 PD, no FF 3 INTs
Nicholson 31 Solo, 6 PD 2 INTs

A grand total of five conference players on the first and second teams.

We're just pretenders to the crown in the Big Ten. Football is only played in the SEC, and only since 2001. Anything before that is neither football nor worth discussing.

I hope the Big Ten makes a great showing during bowl season. Especially against the SEC... it's a shame that two of those teams are MSU and Ohio. I think I'll just be rooting against Georgia and Florida. :)

Yahoo's new resident SEC-ROOLZ! slappy, Pat Forde, probably had veto power over this list.
