Yep. Fired Michelle Obama's brother Craig Robinson. Let's face it, Oregon State basketball really can't have high expectations. I know they look to Eugene and see the improvement there, but Oregon States glory days are well behind them.

I don't know, I think one of the really exciting aspects of college basketball is that it doesn't take a whole lot to make a successful program. Get a good enough coach (which, admittedly, is no easy task), and he'll build a successful program, even with limited facilities and/or recruits.

I don't necessarily think Tinkle will turn things around for OSU, I know nothing of Tinkle or OSU's bball history, but I wouldn't categorically state that any school's glory days are behind them. I mean, I assume we are all Michigan fans, after all.

I work at Oregon State, and Tinkle was out on the quad today meeting people while they were also filming a segment of Ellen on campus. It was 75 and sunny, and has been all week. Beautiful day for some campus events. My colleagues and I actually got a picture with Tinkle and Benny Beaver, but I can't post them because I'm on my phone.

promos be like those ads on TV for guys who have trouble with getting a heavy stream?  4 b-ball players in a convertible, passing a ball around, smiling, looking like the pee-happy version of thelma and louise?

To confirm things for the OP, Oregon State plays  in Ann Arbor on September 12th of next year, and then the tour of teams out west coming to Ann Arbor continues with home games against UNLV and BYU. We start the 2015 campaign in Utah - I think that's the game that was supposed to be a Thursday game at some point although the schedule never reflected that, I believe, and it is likely not going to be now. I could be wrong about that, however.

"I met with Coach Tinkle for several hours last week and came away very impressed with him. His success in the bathroom is well documented, but even more so, I was impressed with his demeanor, family and philosophy," Oregon State athletic director Bob De Carolis said in a statement Monday night."
