It's official - Peppers 6' 1"
http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/07/michigan_freshmen_wei…
Marshall up to 245 lbs. Looks like the freshmen are ready to go...getting us to 11-1!!!
Maybe better for the MGoBoard and not a diary?
my first post...any idea on how to change that?
from here, I think you have the option and then just recreate on the MGoBoard. When you fill out the post, hover over create content and choose MGoBoard. and then when you're there, it'll say Forum and MGoBoard is your only option. Make sure that is selected or it won't let you proceed.
I think you have to get the mods to delete for you. I think I can help with that...let me get a hold of one of them.
thanks. I wasn't sure. I respect the mod power and your patience. Don't think I could handle it with as much grace as you and LSA.
"...until he is measured at the NFL combine"
This is as official as Gary Harris being 6'4".
(downvote away) :)
"Official" according to Michigan standards isn't always the same as his actual height.
If he's in cleats.
Which for a football player isn't a far fetched idea.
JBB at 327 is a little worrisome, right?
Double-D or Double-P?
+ 1 million this post. ^^^^
That's surprising, since last week he was quoted by that paper that shall not be named, saying "During the All-American Game I weighed in at 350. Now I’m down to 315."
said he was up around 350 at the all star game he played in so he has been cutting weight.
Thank god. If he was only 6'0" I'd lose all hope about him.
Don't be crazy now.
I also firmly believe Ian Bunting will be a football player in the Big Ten.
Pallante with some much-needed weight gain I see. Furbush dropped some serious weight.
He's probably 5'11. It's easy to see from pictures. The one posted the other day with him next to Lewis had excuses made for it: "he's not wearing cleats", "it's taken at an angle", "his head's at an angle", etc. All a little valid. But not enough to account for 3-4" in height. Look at this picture. If the other recruits' heights are accurate, he's definitely in the 5'10 to 5'11 range.

All the other recruits' listed heights are correct in proportion to each other. Speight, 6'6; Ferns, 6'4; Bushell-Beatty, 6'5... Unless Speight is 6'9, there is absolutely no way Peppers is even close to 6'1.
Obvious sarcasm. Your post makes no sense. You're saying its more likely they got most of their heights wrong? Use a little intelligence, if Peppers is 6'1, then Speight is almost 7'. It doesn't matter if they're standing in an arc, it doesn't make that big of a difference.
Someone get Pallante and Furbush a few cheeseburgers and into the weightroom seven days a week. 6'4 210 pounds is a stick figure practically.
You must not have seen Noah Furbush with your own two eyes. Stick figure is the last thing that would come to mind
But, Devin Gardner is 6'4, 210 pounds and stick figure is the first thing that comes to my mind. The fact that our starting QB, who was a WR, is as big as our freshman linebacker, tells me that backer needs to hit the weightroom and take a redshirt. Probably needs 20 pounds before seeing the field.
Pallante just put on 11 pounds. Another 15 or so, and he's right at 3-tech weight. He was never going to NT anyway.
That's odd - I don't see Pallante playing anywhere other than nose tackle.
I'll give that seven fakes out of five.
I saw Peppers outside Mojo on campus the other day. I'm 5-11 and he was easily an inch or two taller than me so I'd buy the 6-1. Obviously he has a rock solid build for a DB.
Phooey. Your mom is inflating your height. We know you're really 5'-7" Which means Peppers is only 5'-9".
Yeah, he's 5'11 maybe pushing 6'. He'll ball either way, an inch or two won't make much of a difference.
That was a good one, impressive.
but here is how I come up with 11-1...I think last year's clusterF team would go 8-4 with this year's schedule. Nuss wins one game by not having a clusterF offense. Mattison installing a MSU style balls to the wall defense adds another win...and finally 5'11" or 6' 1" Jabril Peppers wins one game that we otherwise would have lost....So you see, I am not naming games....just looking at the big picture
thinks 5'11" isn't short. But compared to Tacopants at 11'5", 5'11" isn't exactly tall.
