Let's try to come up with 100 things that we hate about MSU basketball.

1. Those Sparty bros with the numbers on their chests
2. Their you off/you fired shirts.
3. How every time they lose their coach/players/fans have some excuse for why they lost. The refs were bad/they were injured/their plane was late etc.

Last headline I saw at Freep was that UM students caused $125 K in damages up north. How much does an old couch cost? Not to mention we've set a few couches ablaze.

Tom Izzo built his entire myth upon Michigan's "troubles." He had the entire state to himself when it was a fertile recruiting area. He would walk into instate recruits 'living rooms, say "Fab Five Scandal," smile and come out with a commitment.
With the personnel he was able to amass, a coach as "great" as Izzo is supposed to be would have had multiple NCAA Championships. Now that Michigan isn't so fertile for recruiting and Michigan has a coach who chaired the NCAA Ethics Committee, Izzo is being unmasked for exactly what he is: an OK coach, but not a great one.
May the unmasking continue.

I've seen Branden Dawson's Dodge Charger. I drive and love that car. But with his vanity plate of "bdaws" and every $2 plastic chrome accessory you can buy for that car, it was really hard not to key it

It's not a matter of hatred for me, rather a lack of respect for anything MSU. They're MSU. There is nothing to really hate. They're just a bunch of losers and I'm not talking just about sports, even though they have been pretty good in football lately. I'm talking about in life, too. They're losers in life. OSU, on the other hand. I fucking hate them.

Everytime I watch a game on TV played at the Bres it just makes me hate them even more. Is there a bigger set of complete douche-bags all in one area than this section of ass-clowns that think they're all TV rock stars at games when they're shown? Fuck the izzone. Hate these punks and nothing makes my day more to see their faces after a loss no matter who is playing against them:

It's amusing how blithely unaware their entire fan culture remains to how the name "Izzone" really just highlights the fact that the Spartan basketball program, for the majority of it's history, has been mediocre. Their entire fan culture is built around a person, not their school, yet they continue to puff their chests out like they're Big 10 UCLA.
So when Izzo finally retires, what do you call yourselves then? Exactly. This is why nobody outside of middle Michigan respects you, because your "history" and "tradition" extends as far back as the end of the Clinton adminstration.
