It's MSU Hate Week
Let's try to come up with 100 things that we hate about MSU basketball.
I'll start.
1. Those Sparty bros with the numbers on their chests
2. Their you off/you fired shirts.
3. How every time they lose their coach/players/fans have some excuse for why they lost. The refs were bad/they were injured/their plane was late etc.

Izzo and his team used to do things the right way. I respected them for that. They were consistently tough and defensively minded. Apparently he has lost it and is now over the hill.
Izzo and his team criticized last years lack of leadership from their two seniors, Payne and Appling. What good does throwing your past players "under the bus" do for you? That should have been kept in-house.
Izzo is a jerk for stating that LaVert's injury was caused by our training methods and lack of rest in the off-season. Not only is it none of his business, but judging by our better success over the past 3 years, its the reason why we are now the better team and program.
The refs need to give Izzo a technical to keep him off the court. He and his antics sadly depict the true drama queen that he has become. Someday he is going to interfere with the play.
He is the "King of the excuse". Take your pick. Its either injuries, the refs, the schedule, youth, or inexperience. So what's next Tom? Blame it on the weather, the school, or classes? Tom, sometimes its better to give credit to the opposition and admit you lost to a better team that day.
His teams are classless. I love that the "slapping the floor BS" has backfired on his team on multiple occassions.
I heard an interview with Branden Dawson and was shocked that he sounded illiterate. Stated "ya know" so many times it was hard to understand what he was even saying. Contrast that with an after game interview I heard with Caris LaVert. He was well spoken and a true gentleman. The Michigan advantage!
Izzo just makes me glad we have such a great and gracious coach in John Beilein!
I just hope we somehow make the NCAA tournament and they don't.

"I only applied to Michigan so I could turn them down in favor of MSU".
I've never met a single person who picked MSU over Michigan. Not one. I've met students who picked Notre Dame over Michigan. Picked Duke over Michigan. Picked Stanford over Michigan. But reading MSU boards, you'd think the entire student body in East Lansing has had the satisfaction of turning down Michigan in favor of MSU.
What a crock...

that's a gigantic steaming crock of shit. No one picks MSU over Michigan.
Although a co-workers kid recently went to OU instead of either, on a full academic ride. So you really couldn't blame the kid.
