Homie - I’m hoping you’re right.  Teams will change during the season.  In the off-season commentary, I made a few remarks about Iowa’s offense - or lack thereof.

The game at Kinnick is over a month away.  My view is - ball security and field position - become even more emphasized - because if Michigan’s D plays like it can - it will be a challenge for Iowa’s to put enough together to sustain scoring drives of 70 or more yards.

I was entertained by how the commentators were trying to seem excited for SDSU's last drive.

They had passed for like 26 inches the entire game; the chances they would be able to go 80 yards in 30 seconds were less than nil.

Brian Ferentz is what a lot of Michigan fans seem to think (or used to think) Jay Harbaugh is.

I'd love to know what Phil Parker, the Iowa DC, really thinks of his counterpart on the other side of the ball.

Us in the stadium were very confused when 5-3 flashed on the screen.  I was more confused when I saw it was 7-3 after, a seemingly normal score but realizing it was a second safety

And yet somehow they are going to pit Michigan in a dogfight deep into the fourth quarter.

No team in America is better at playing up or down to its competition at home than Iowa is.
