There is more that is being held back there. Would like to see Deveon, Evans and Issac or another Fullback in the backfield. Get him a lead blocker or 2 or 3 w/ a pulling guard or trap the DE or 3 tech and give or lead up inside the trap. Shoot there is a ton of possibilities there! I'm going to email Coach Harbaugh and Drevno. LOL

Positives from O'Korn were he took care of the football in bad weather, he made a big run that turned the game around, and he was our qb in victory.   Given how Indy stacked the box, surprised we did not make a few more pass plays, but we won.  Will feel a lot better about our chances next week if Speight can start, but O'Korn was better in the second half than in the first, and our defense can keep us in practically every game.

Smith went from being one of the GOATS that most of us were complaining about last week... to being the HERO this week. What a difference a week can make. I'm happy for him and about the win.

has been one of my favorites since he committed to Michigan. What a way for him to go out in his final home game. I hope he's feeling big love in Ann Arbor tonight. The guys on the radio said he wasn't happy with the second guessing of his number of carries last week.

Yet in Kalamazoo a QB managed to throw for over 450...so apparently there are those with the ability to throw the ball and catch the ball in the same weather.  I think that there is a lack of really focusing on getting mid-range throws to Butt and others the last few weeks that have really hurt having some consistent movement in the offense.

Need to get some easy throws in to get the Qbs in synch be it Okorn or Speight, and think that if I had a TE like Butt available, he would be on the list for at least 5-10 targets a week.

I don't think it matters. If Speight goes back to good Speight of two weeks ago, it might make a small difference, but someone needs to catch the damn ball. And the O Line needs to block somebody. I don't see that happening.

So O Korn was not in rhythm today. That wind was brutal. I was putting up Christmas lights and was nearly blown off the ladder. I decided to pack it in and do it another day. I can't imagine Harbaugh as risk averse as he is, wanted his gunslinger minded backup Qb to do anything dangerous today. I'd feel better next week with Speight, but only because we know what we get. O Korn is capable of more than what we saw today.

I'm not too worried about JOK. The playcalling was pretty bland either due to a lack of trust in JOK or the high winds/winds or both. He panicked once in the pocket, was inaccurate on a couple throws, which isn't bad for his 1st start in over 2 years.

People are over reacting.  I think what makes Harbaugh a great offensive mind actually hurt them today.  The best offense was tight formations letting the offensive line go to work on Indiana's undersized defense.  I know offensive diversity is a positive, but sometimes you need to stick with what works until the defense makes you adjust.  MSU's line got to Barrett today, so I think the defense keeps us in the game next week long enough for the offense to potentially win it.

and candidly, until we fired up in the 3rd quarter i thought we looked like a very average team.  QB was locked on receivers, making bad throws,.  when he made a good throw, our guys were dropping them.   the O-line was far less than helpful to our new starting QB.   lots of 'meh' all over.

Bad first outing for O'Korn, but something to consider when looking at results in the weather:

JT Barrett: 10/22 for 86 yds and 1 TD
Tyler O'Connor 6/16 for 105 yds and 1 TD
