How is this sudden cold going to effect the team?
Not the temperature, but the wind. Thank goodness, as I do believe that helps both teams secondary. I'd love to see a good Michigan running game to start the season!!!

Tell me that's not really a dog, is it?
I believe that is the infamous ChupaCabre... they found him washed up on some beach after he tried tangling with a wolverine.

It's game day, man. Stop analyzing and start enjoying. No one knows. Jesus.
The wind is blowing crazy this morning so that will definitely play a role in our already-suspect kicking game.
This is perfect footbaw weather. With the 60 degree temps and wind, what more could you ask for?
It won't effect them. I'm sure that you're aware of all the recruits that we pull in from Florida and they thrive in this cold weather.

But seriously, if this throws them off enough to hurt their performance then this could be a very long season.
I am more worried about the recruits visiting from the south and how they feel about such a cold day so soon into September.

NFL games played in the north east and midwest, so recruits should get used to it, if they have NFL aspirations.

as a result of this weather, they are going to RIP UCONNS FUCKIN HEADS OFF!

I plus one you, too. But only because you're the only one in this post that knows the difference between "affect" and "effect".
When your out there and the adrenaline is pumping you just play
I was wondering if anybody was gonna mention this.
It's bloody nice out; it's not cold until it's below freezing and even then it's not that bad.
...here in the GWN 65 is considered quite mild.

It is impossible that it will effect them... It may have an effect though.
Maybe if it was super-windy and this was a precision-passing offense, I'd be worried. But all the wind will do is super-charge Dilithium and the slot-ninjas as they run down the field.
I hope Gallon doesn't get blown out the north end of the stadium.
if cold weather could effect a michigan football team, there would be many michigan football teams
It shouldn't have any affect, but, if it does, we're in deep shit for the remainder of the season.
Seems like good football weather to me
Every time an MGoBoard poster complains about a thread topic, God kills a baby panda.
I don't know about the cold but the wind would certainly have me differ on the coin toss.
The effect on the team will be minimal, so I don't think the cold weather will affect them much.

It will influence the team drastically, as they will be forced to wear some extra clothing. All kidding aside, I don't think it will make too big of a deal except to some of the true freshman from warm weather states. Connecticut has to play in this too and the wind might help our secondary out - maybe?
