Add the women's gymnastic team's Big Ten championship, the wrestling team's runner-up finish in the NCAA wrestling championship, victories by the men's and women's basketball teams in the NCAA Tournament and the water polo team's 11-10 win over Indiana and you might say that it was a Great Day for fans of the Michigan Wolverines.

Have we ever had double Muppets?!
March 19th, 2022 at 10:28 PM ^
By my count, I think we should be at quadruple muppets ... MBB sweet 16, hockey B10 champs, wgym B10 champs, and one of our wrestlers won an individual national championship

And if we can add in Women's BBall, even though it was just the opening game in their tourney, the NY Times coverage of today's game has this header: "Michigan's Naz Hillmon dominates as the Wolverines advance." And begins: "Naz Hillmon made a statement in just three quarters of No. 3-seeded Michigan's blowout 74-39 win over American." Nice picture too.

125lbs seems very small for an adult male.
March 19th, 2022 at 10:45 PM ^
It's the weight I wrestled at as a high school senior.

Did the announcer really just say that it was good for Minnesota that they lost??? Guess they made a big mistake trying to win this game.
