Hockey 2-9-10 VS BGSU
Hey did not see anything up yet, figured most people forgot about the game tonight (with it being Tuesday).
Michigan is up 4-0 with about 4 minutes to go in the game. Goals by Caporusso, Caporusso, Lebler, and Burlon. Hogan with 18 saves so far.
This is the type of game Michigan should just destroy a far inferior opponent, and thank the hockey gods they are. Now only if the Wings could do the same with the Blues tonight.

They made us sweat it out for the first two periods, but I'll give them credit for running away with things in the third.
Unrelated, but I mis-read your thread title as implying that, in our last 21 games against BGSU, we had a 2-9-10 record. Which confused me. A lot.

I was very confused as well.

Sorry for the confusion, did not see it that way till you pointed it out.

Hell yea cap. Hopefully this gives him a spark. It's been a really disappointing season for everyone but I bet even more so for him with all that he accomplished last year. It would be huge going into the ccha tournament it he could turn it up

Here's hoping Louie goes on a hot streak to close out the season, god knows we've been missing his goal production

It was somewhat empty, which is fair for a Tuesday, but during the 1st intermission it looked like the kid on the zamboni was trying to tell *us* what to do.

I understand that the students are in the first round of midterms this week, which probably can be attributed to their low numbers; the snow made traveling for us non-A^2 fans a pain. It took me about an hour to get back to Plymouth from the rink, and the drive was not fun.

I agree. I could barely see out of my frozen windows; I basically followed a semi's tailights all the way home.
But yeah, Louie looked great. Hagelin/Rust/Brown all had excellent games.
We're primed to make a run!

Snow definately kept a lot of folks away. Despite having to come from the Detroit 'burbs and having an early Wednesday, I was planning on coming to see the game. Unfortunately, the snow made the driving conditions impossible.
How big was the crowd?

mogblue boxscore says that the crowd was just under 6000, i think like 5948. I would imagine most of them would be students as i am sure many people avoided driving last night.

the third goal was b.e.a.utiful
though I don't think I've heard a quieter Yost in the 4 years I've been here...

Too bad the Wings are now 1-3-1 against the Blues :(. Hopefully they're just distracted with the Olympics coming up and get on track for the home stretch.

Why did we play this game on a Tuesday?

to hinder the Saints celebration parade
