I'm sure UM has their own hosts/hostesses, it's just that there's never been any evidence or even stories about us whoring girls out for recruits As for the SEC schools doing it, I don't think it's as prevalent as OP suggested, but there's definitely been more stories from down South than up here

I'm just guessing he won't.  In general, I agree with you, but I'm less likely to agree when it's a (relatively) local kid turning down Michigan for a distant program with far less prestige, inferior academics, and arguably less opportunity for immediate playing time.  This isn't Trey DePreist going to Alabama or DeAnthoney Arnett going to Tennessee.  There are other factors to consider, and every kid has different priorities, but in this circumstance it is reasonable to wonder...

I am thinking this may be the writing on the wall regarding Conley.  We will see though.

EDIT:  OP edits faster than I can post.  Welcome Da'Mario!

I would guess that this has little impact on the three remaining recruits we are looking at (Green, Treadwell and McQuay). I would say it is 100% Conley being out of the picture. Any scouting reports on this guy?

Conley still has to speak with Hoke about his OSU visit...he isn't 'gone' yet.

It's one of two thing:
1) Conley is definitely gone and the staff knows it. The public didn't until now.
2) Treadwell is no longer on the table.

It's better than this year's WR group because Darboh/Chesson in their 2nd year are probably better than Roundtree (at least on the outside)...and those three seniors should be further improved as well.  Plus you get the 3 freshman (or more?) getting a shot.

Anyway, that's plenty of depth for a team that will continue to run a lot of 2TE sets.

It's plenty of depth, yes. but the two players closest to "established" on that list are seniors (Dileo, Gallon). I think it makes sense to get a bunch of guys at this point, given that we don't know for sure if we have ANYTHING at this point

Esepcially once Dileo, Gallon, and Jackson depart - you don't even have a reliable complementary/slot/possession guy anymore.

They have to buy as many lotto tickets as they can.

The Jones offer/commitment could mean a number of things or a combination of a number of them.

WR is obviously a need but taking 4 seems like overkill for an offense that is investing heavily in TEs, FBs, and RBs.  OL and QB aren't positions that I want to skimp on numbers at....though I do take it as sign of confidence in the '12 OL class that they aren't seeking to replace Dawson exclusively with another OL.  Especially considering most (all?) of those kids are going to play extensively next year.
