Has anyone found where Michigan will lose a football game? I just can't seem to find the week we lose again and I've already graced my eyes through the 2020 schedule.

Bulls: He camped here 3 years, is very familiar with the school, wanted to be a Michigan man.
Bears: He made a decision too early in the recruiting season, so much time to go, guys like this who commit immeidately upon offer usually come back 4-5 months later and open up recruitment.
So I guess you can choose what side you want. Usually QBs are guys who lead the "recruiting" charge within a class so hard to see the QB decommitting like a WR or RB would.
To protect our gain, I think you could say that Michigan has purchased a Put on this transaction. By all accounts there are several other quarterbacks interested, therefore if the market took a downturn we could let the option expire and only be out the premium (deWeaver).
We would then be free to locate other investments after incurring a minimal loss. Perhaps not the most enviable position, but hey, at least we didn't write a naked call and go up until signing day without getting a QB in the fold.
Well, that did not take long at all, did it? The previous thread about the offer went up, say, four hours or so ago? In any case, the Hudl footage looked really good - strong and accurate throws, and not that high school stats mean much at the college level, but he's already a rather productive QB as it is.
Also, by the appearance of a second thread (now gone), he might have committed twice, so you do have to like the enthusiasm behind it as well.

Who is the last 'M' QB to come out of Ohio? Without looking it up, I can't think of a starter since Grbac, but I feel like I'm missing someone obvious. Benny Friedman would probably be the best, followed by Elvis; hopefully, Messiah can challange that list.
Andy Mignery? Although he had to change positions to earn a starting role.
But Michael Taylor, Dennis Franklin, Larry Cipa, and Scot Loeffler were from Ohio, among other significant Michigan QBs.

Space Coyote (earlier thread) make similar observations about his throwing deficiencies.
Nuss is clearly qualified to evaluate QB talent. What do you think he is seeing that led to the Offer? Or, is it a consensus pick from the rest of the staff -- i.e., Nuss didn't make the primary call -- that was suggested in the Offer thread?
it sounds like Nuss spent a lot of time at SMSB and the camp. If you read the writeup by Ace it sounds like he is improving. I have a feeling Nuss is very ok with this.
Obviously Nuss and Borges are both very good QB evaluators. I am just curious what they can learn in person that can't be picked up on film with regard to a QB's aptitude to improve throwing mechanics. Michigan has had some good/great QBs -- recently -- who never overcame their throwing deficiencies.
You can really get a look at a kids mechanics. You can see if they are the sort of issues that can be ironed out a bit more or are more inate in the way he plays. You can see how he uses his feet after a bit of coaching. How he rotates, where his power comes from, etc. That's why coaches want to see kids throw in person before offering. They get a much better feel for their true upside and deficiencies.
I'll say this about DeWeaver, whom I have not seen throw since his junior season ended. This is nothing new, but we have a quarterback who was pretty bad at throwing the football last season. He spent a lot of time this off-season getting some extra coaching and working hard on his mechanics, and now he looks significantly better from last November until now. So sometimes it just takes an extra bit of dedication or some added maturity as far as paying attention to timing, mechanics, etc. Quarterback is the most difficult position to play in football, so while I have issues with what I've seen from DeWeaver, he's got time to develop.
