Beilein will have quite a stable of talent with lots of versatility. Bunch of 1-4s and 7-ft Teske to guard the rim & pose a legit scoring threat - should be fun to see how Beilein uses them.

Love Michigan basketball right now. The Beilein progression is absolutely unbelievable--if he can pull off transforming a D3 kid and an unranked seven footer, there are no limits!! In Beilein we trust

Well, as they say sometimes, it never rains but it pours, except when it comes to recruits to bolster programs, I don't think you would necessarily want the umbrella, and indeed, a little rain never hurts but will hopefully help things grow and prosper. That being said, a welcome addition indeed - as Beilein said in the UMHoops article:

“It’s a thing we’ll continue to work on, but I don’t plan on changing at all. It would be nice to have a huge shot-blocker who can change games, but that will come through either in guys we have now or guys who are coming in, like a DJ Wilson will be able to block some shots.”

Welcome to Michigan, Jon Teske!

Let's see ... within the last two weeks we've gotten committments from a four-star receiver in football, then a highly-regarded D-III transfer in basketball, then a four-star running back in football, and now a 7-foot shot-blocking center in basketball.

OK, football - your turn.

I met Jon and his family on Mackinac Island last week. We were eating at the pizza buffet! They seemed like real nice people and he even signed an autograph for my nephew.

Sam Webb has previously opined that Teske's committment would likely (but far from certainly) sway Thornton and Battle, who both expressed an interest in playing with him.

Awesome score no matter what, though.  Also an interesting changeup from Beilein's typical center recruits from what I can tell.

Wow, one article stated he was measured at 6'11" without shoes, thats a legitimate big man. If that is true then he is a 7 footer in basketball terms. Seeing as he is still young, he may not even be done fully growing either.
