Jefferson was really good friends with Drew Richmond who just decommited from Ole Miss and will likely end up at Tennessee. Jefferson also removed "Ole Miss Commit" from his Twitte profile. Detroit in his header? All Blue.
|4 weeks 20 hours ago||Jefferson||
Van Jefferson was quoted in an interview, "Drew Richmond was down there with me and me and Drew always wanted to play together so that's going to be something special." With Drew's decommitment from Ole Miss, Jefferson removing "Ole Miss commit" from his Twitter profile, and the addition of the Detroit skyline for his Twitter header, I'd say Jefferson is all but blue at this point.

I think Perry is a quality individual to add to the class: great kid, chemistry with Malzone, reliable receiver, who I think will have a similar impact as Drew Dileo did. Would especially love this addition with Jefferson and Cole joining him at receiver. I think each of their strengths compliment the others' nicely.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||Harbaugh Appreciation||
In a matter of weeks Harbaugh has gotten us in the top two for guys like Marshall, Smith, Weber, Clark, and Jefferson. Not saying Mich will even sign any of them, but I cannot wait to see how the 2016 class shapes out. Especiallly with the interest from the 3 CA guys--that would be a dream come true for us all.
|7 weeks 1 day ago||Carter's Stats||
Also to be taken into consideration, Coach Traylor (AD and head football at Gilmer) tweeted his stats and also included that he sat out a total of 23 quarters. Upon further research Gilmer was 16-0 this last season, which would total to 64 quarters, meaning McLane Carter amounted those stats while playing in just 41 quarters. 4,000 yards and 47 TDs at that efficiency is impressive to say the least.

If he could have somewhere, somehow integrated an interest in dropping Adidas, Hackett for AD campaigns would have commenced on the spot. Great press conference none the less!
|16 weeks 1 day ago||Would Want||
Doesn't look terribly agile or quick, but 6'9 with a pretty shot and sound fundamentals at that age is desirable. I'm a sucker for shooting form though. By the way, is it basketball season yet?? Please...
|26 weeks 4 days ago||Love it||
Absolutely love the addition of Roseboro, and I'm salivating at the thought of him and KLS lining up together. I watched the commitment during my AP Calculus class, and my teacher is a Nebraska alum and fan, so now I get to give him some guff at the end of the period. Go Blizzy Blue Baby!

Love Michigan basketball right now. The Beilein progression is absolutely unbelievable--if he can pull off transforming a D3 kid and an unranked seven footer, there are no limits!! In Beilein we trust
|30 weeks 5 days ago||Proof read||
Hate to knock a 17 year old, since I myself am 17, but first it was "top 5 collages" and there weren't any pictures made into art. Then it was alphabetical order, and he put OSU before Mich and MSU. And now he is already pursuing his Masters degree. I wish him the best of luck, and I may just be a bit salty because he gets to go to *college for free, but a simple proof read could have been very beneficial.
|31 weeks 3 days ago||Huge Get||
Fill an obvious need at WR with a top 100 in-state guy, start off the biggest recruiting weekend with a bang, AND steal him from State = an incredible pick up. This has to help with Weber and the future of in-state recruiting as well. Can't imagine what these coaches could do with a dominant on-field performance. Let's start this year! Go Blue!!
|32 weeks 6 days ago||Shane Morris Inclusion||
I was thinking the equal distribution of white guys, but whatever I guess
|33 weeks 5 days ago||Scary but exciting||
The fact that there are two open spots at DE and Michigan is safely one of the top 2 teams on both the lists of two top 100 recruits at DE can be either extremely optimistic or pessimistic. I can't name another solid option at DE (potentially Wheatley?) that would be an easy pick up if Mich does miss out on one, or both of KLS and Roseboro. However, if both go blue, that's an incredible haul at a must needed position for the future.

His stats have him averaging 14 pts 10 boards while shooting 65%, and 75% from the free throw line. Obviously, stats don't tell the whole story, but that seems to be exactly what we need. Untapped potential in Beilein's system sounds promising to me

But athleticism never hurts
|45 weeks 6 days ago||Good point||
I do think though that the addition of more athleticism to this team would be very beneficial. I felt at times this year that we were outmatched athletically--which in part goes to rebounding with GR3 as a 4. But to teams like Indiana and (obviously) Kentucky we gave up dunk after dunk and rebound after rebound due to our inferior athletic ability. I think Michigan is due to change with the guys we're bringing in though.
|45 weeks 6 days ago||Dawkins vs. Rahkman||
Although I love the name Muhammad Ali Abdur Rahkman, I think Dawkins would better thrive at Michigan. Losing GR3, I think we need another stud athlete and Dawkins fits that mold much better than Rahkman.
|46 weeks 1 day ago||Crawford||
Hate to be devil's advocate, but did anybody else notice his twitter bio change to no longer say anything about being a Mich commit? When all is said and done I think he's still blue, but I do believe he's going to explore his options
|47 weeks 5 days ago||Kirkland||
I like the vibe Kirkland is emulating and I like our chances with him. He's visited on his own without an offer, his twitter account has been Michigan related, and with Barajas committing to PSU and Bilal a ND lean, I feel like Kirkland is a future Wolverine. Didn't he already set his commitment date before the offer came? I've been hearing May 30?
|50 weeks 1 day ago||Really Psyched||
I really like our chances with a lot of consensus Top 100 guys this cycle. We may not be in on a Jabrill Peppers-esque type player, but with interest peaking for Garret Taylor (#75), KLS (#45), Mike Weber (#69), Damien Harris (#47), that gets me really excited and seems better than what we've had in the past. Now we can only wait and see for guys like Sterling Jenkins, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Justin Hilliard, Brian Cole, etc, This class definitely has the potential
