Hate week is official. (Dont be fairweather)

Submitted by Brandon_L on

We can sit here  and bitch about coaches, players, youth of the team, the fans who will be attending (THE GAME), or those who have already made a decision to not show up. The truth is life does continue. This is a week in which anything can happen. I have watched Ohio play every week this year. When I compare Michigan to Ohio I dont look at just stats, scores, I observe how they react to adversity. Last week vs Illinois on the road they let off the gas and allowed Illinois to climb back into the game. I watch there defense allow over 400 yards today and last week. This team has lacked in the defensive department since the beginning of the year. There secondary is suspect and if attacked correctly it can be exposed.

Now i am not going to sit here and quit on the team, or sell my tickets because im pissed off at the staff, or players. I am going to go and support the team from beginning to end. Many of us will never know what it is like to be the players, and we will never feel what they feel after a defeat like today, but I can gurantee this week they will be alive and ready. I think we as fans owe it to watch the game and have faith that anything is possible and cheer on the team, rather it be from your couch, or in the stadium. Do your best to realize that these kids and the coaches will work hard to go out and win for the seniors and for Michigan. No matter how you feel remember that what you say on the web, or in public is usually recorded, or may be perceived as negative by the players, and recruits. So as you pass your judgement remember that these players can hear you and it does have an affect on them mentally no matter what anyone says. I think we as fans need to show as much support as we can this week as this team prepares for THE GAME.

if this team goes out and knocks off OSU next week, that says volumes about the guys on the team. I will be extremely happy for them. That win would be all for them. I'm so checked out of this season. And I'm not afraid to admit it. I fell asleep in the 4th quarter of the Iowa game. I just didn't care. I'm sure I'll watch The Game. I'm sure I'll be somewhat excited at kickoff. But I'm not even exchanging shit texts with OSU fans. They all fall into 2 categories: they are either embarassed for M or genuinely feel bad that we are as bad as we are.

That said, I'm pretty sure I felt this same way before the Florida CAP One game. There's always a chance. But it would require the kind of stylistic offensive switch DeBord pulled out of his ass for the cap one game. If Al Borges insists on trotting out the same grab bag of garbage next week, I will not be surprised if OSU drops 50+ on us.

Prediction: We come out with all manner of trickery/new installs for the first drive, get up 7-0 and then revert to our normal shit. This looks a lot like 2008 game.

records don't mean crap.  I don't get why we keep coming up short.  I'm calling all the right plays, like when i called a wr sweep 2 plays in a row or when i called the fake pass handoff 3 times in a row.  I wish these kids would just execute better.

and have since I was 5. I FUCKING HATE THE OHIO BUCKEYES more than any of you do. You have no idea what I
Have lived with for the last 30+ years of my life (especially the last 12), and I love Michigan even more than I hate Ohio. But we are NOT beating those guys. They are the SECOND best team in the country and we nearly lost to Akron and UConn and did lose to Penn Rape and Nebraska. We are going to get embarrassed and it will be awful.

Is that beating Ohio and ruining their season will be the fire under the ass of Michigan this week.

Anyone can predict an outcome. Games are still played between goalposts, though.

I'll be there.  First time at the Game since 2005.  But to be honest I am looking forward more to Zingerman's Roadhouse and drinking Bells than the Game.  Two Hearted!!! W00000t.  TWO FUCKING HEARTED!!!!!!

Bell's out here. i hope to go out crabbing and not be too embarased when i hear the score. i can always get a recording of the game should pigs fly, but i am not anticipating porcine aviators. We do get Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale out here, and it should be in stores now.

Michigan is gonna get smoked next Saturday.  Urbs now is "third alone" with no Baylor to scare him.  The only way he gets into the BCS Championship game is if 1 or 2 lose.  It ain't happenin'.

Michigan needs to move into the 21st century of college football.  Michigan needs to remember Bo and say thank you and MOVE ON!.  This program is stuck in the 70s.  After next Saturday's 53-10 loss, there needs to be a referendum on this staff and this AD.  I don't know who could possibly fix this mess, but from Brandon on down, they all need to go and bring in someone with a young fresh approach.

I love Michigan, but this program is going down hill and the empty seats by the third qtr next week will prove it.  I sold my FINAL season tickets to a Dr at UM and I will root for MIchigan from my couch.  The only thing I am sure of is, it won't be pretty.  And I will be rooting hard for MSU Dec. .

Michigan has won once in the last 10 years and twice in the last 13.   I doubt there will be any mercy Nov. 30.  Aside from RR's first  trip to Columbus, I have never been more certain of a beating in this series.

I will root and hope the kids play well, but I have zero faith in this staff's ability to prepare the team or create a winning gameplan.  It WILL be ugly.

I just wish I could care more than I do right now...

I'm not as low as I was 4 years ago, i've just reached that point where im apathetic about UM.  Its so much more disheartening than anything before.

Sigh...BEAT OHIO

Yes Meeechigan fans it's here again. The time of year where you keep your children and women indoors. I, as a realist figure in my head this will be a sad Saturday but this is the greatest rilvary in sports for a reason. There have been games in this series where one of these teams have no business thinking they can win and have won going away. So don't sell your tix to bucks and be as loud as you can. Winning this game would salvage UM's season and bring pride back to UM football for at least one more year now go out there and show the nation why this IS the greatest rilvalry in sports.       GO BLUE!!!!
