I never thought I would say this but I'm actually rooting for PSU against OSU.

 Am I now evil?

I literally have to explain this concept to my fiancé every year when MSU and OSU are playing each other. I'm not rooting for either team, im rooting against both. Some years I root against one a little more than the other. This year for example I would be rooting harder against Ohio State, as MSU isn't a threat to harm our B1G title chances (at least not after Saturday)

I believe the chances of OSU losing another game before the Game are pretty slim. So, I'd rather have an 11-0 opponent in the Game than a 10-1 opponent.

I think what I'm rooting for is for both teams to explode.

But short of that, for Penn State to lose in a close game, because that should put Michigan in #2 with OSU #3.  I kind of want that going into The Game as insurance in case we narrowly lose, giving us a potential for playoffs regardless.  Also in case something happens on the way to TheGame, when we beat an undefeated OSU, more likely will put us over the top and into the playoffs even if we go there with a single loss.

 

But if OSU loses, I'm actually very very very very okay with that :)

I just can't root for PSU...ever.  As much as I dislike OSU there is something appealing about getting to that game with both undefeated...and win.  They would be crushed on a par with 1969.
