Harbaugh -- Khakis difference!

Harbaugh attempts a half court shot today. He misses . . . did not have his Khakis on!
When you follow the link it shows him making the same shot over and over in Kansas!

I feel like the Khaki stuff is a bit overplayed, like a good joke but beaten to death. Though, maybe it's been that way for a while.. I did see a lot of stuff on ESPN/NFL Network about him and his khaki's a long time ago. It's just gone crazy tho locally lately. But he's got to be a good sport about it.. I am sure a good majority of his conversations with people he meets start with "ahaha yep i see you're wearing your khakis!" or "hey man, where's the khakis at!?". No sane man could possibly enjoy this or put up with it... then again, Harbaugh is not sane. Which is partially why we love him.
(don't get me wrong, I enjoy it... but I hope it doesn't get very old, very soon).

I note in the reel where he is wearing them -- he makes the shot!
Today, he is not and he does not! Funnnnnnnnnnnn!

oh i hear ya, i was just coming from his side.. it's gotta drive him crazy. but then like I said, he's already been there for a long time so maybe he doesn't mind.

Something tells me Jim isn't annoyed by the khaki thing at all and actually embraces it fully...

The Khaki stuff was funny for a while, but it's about time to move on.

In the same way that the sewer rats in Columbus are all awarded their stupid little "golden pants" thingie every time they beat UM (which has been a lot of pairs of golden pants recently, but changing), HARBAUGH will memorialize his attire by starting the awarding this year of little "khaki pants" when we beat their asses. In that way, your idea of the overplay of khakis won't be an issue. In JMFH we trust.

So, true confessions. I wear khaki trousers almost every day. Some of them are cheap, some more expensive. Some are from Walmart or Kohls. Some are wool from Land's End. They are not "fashionable." But I don't care. They match with almost everything. I can wear them with a buttondown shirt, or a t-shirt (like Jim Harbaugh.) I can wear them with a sweater, or a blue blazer. If they make any statement, it is that they are utilitarian and don't draw attention. I wore khakis to class when I was a Michigan student.
In contrast, here is a fashion statement:

I really can't think of any circumstance where I would where those. A man's gotta know his limitations.

I would never wear them. Not in the house, not on the farm, not in the bedroom, not at the beach, not in public or private. The thought is very unappealing.
I suppose I'd think about it if that was the condition for raising a chunk of money for a food pantry building, and for a group we're supporting in Kenya. But even then, I wouldn't be thrilled.

That is one of the most shockingly stupid clothing fashions I've ever seen. People are actually seen out in public wearing that? Looks like one of those joke SNL commercials.

You know something's really bad . . . when even models can't make it look good.
January 24th, 2015 at 5:53 PM ^
I don't think I could wear them around the house, even if no one else was there.

we don't wear this crap. Ok maybe somewhere like Venice Beach but nowhere else. Not even Berzerkley

I wouldn't know about most of California. I didn't wear stuff like this when I lived in LA, although I may have seen some similar styles when walking on the beach with my wife in Santa Monica. Still, I can't even imagine someone in Chicago or Detroit coming up with this, and selling it. Leave it to California.

If only this showed the next 5 seconds where he gets the rebound and throws it down Isaiah Rider style.

Yes. We all saw it live and didn't need a thread on this web site.
