PAWLLLL those carpetbaggers from Michigan are cheatin again to steal our croots.

This is awesome though. His presence alone is enough to make Saban's eye twitch. Joining forces with Auburn, their biggest rival, is just icing on the cake.

and it's impressive he was able to get Nico and Aubrey out of SEC country, but what should make us all happy is Coach Harbaugh is just getting started (I'm really looking forward to him pounding Saban and Meyer someday soon).

Banned.

Coaches may not headline coaches clinics outside of their home state.

You are correct imo. I have no idea which member suggested the name Harbaugh. Yet I wouldn't be surprised if the person responsible is taking an equal amount of delight as is Harbaugh, by doing nothing more than imagining the response by The Man in that state.

It's well understood, or I thought it was, anyone related to football in that state, in any capacity, and certainly all high school coaches, were prohibited from taking this type of action without approval of N.S. I mean this is the man who made it perfectly clear to the state legislature just what he wanted in respect to "that damn coach from Michigan." And, of course, they had no problem with his demand(request?).

Could it be as obvious as Collin's coach, the head of the Bama HSAA? It certainly wouldn't surprise me to learn that Harbaugh, himself, made the HSAA aware he just happened to be available on those given days, "if there's anyway at all I can contribute to the upcoming coaches clinic."

I might be guilty of not remembering the events and the statements made, but I swear at one time, and I believe it was at the beginning of the Saban/Harbaugh war of words, that Jim said something to the effect, "Last time I recall, I was free to visit any state in this country I wished to visit."

Regardless, this has caused me a lot of smiling, and for exactly the same reasons you are. This Harbaugh guy. I think he might work out.
