Who is SHOCKED when I see something on 247 and then come to Mgoblog to find that a thread hasn't been created about it yet? What took you so long, Jay Z? I'm blaming Beyoncé

Not mentioned in the article is how Jim Harbaugh stuck around afterward and oversaw fingerpainting. It started off well enough, with Harbaugh just asking "Alright, enough about a career in football! How about we do some fingerpainting?!"

The kids reacted enthusiastically, but when one announced that he disliked fingerpainting, and one of his friends joined in to seem cool, a vein started pulsing on Harbaugh's neck, and he forced the two children to run laps around the lunchroom. Harbaugh then went back in front of the class, and asked "Does anybody else want to join them?!"

Met with silence, Harbaugh got out the paper and paint and set them on a table on the other side of the room. "Well?! What are you all waiting for?!" The children then proceeded to go and grab their supplies. Addie obviously ran up, with her classmates following. Harbaugh, disapponted with the overall lack of hustle, forced the last three up to do 25 push-ups, then join their smartmouthed classmates in the lunchroom for laps.

Any children grabbing any paint that left out maize and blue (Harbaugh made an exception for red, for pictures of bloodied Michigan opponents) had the paint slapped out of their hands, and were forced to go run laps, as well. One child was particularly defiant and picked their fingerpaint up from the ground, but Harbaugh proceeded to drink the entire can and forced the child to go run laps.

At the very end, Harbaugh selected the three winners, a beautiful picture of Michigan taking a 77-0 win over Ohio State in Ann Arbor, a wolverine, and a Judge Judy fingerpaint portrait, and awarded them with helmet stickers, while forcing everybody else to go into the lunchroom for laps. He was particularly unimpressed with Drew Brees' picture of a snowman, citing the time of year and laziness of using the white paper background as a color, and forced him to run twice as many laps as the rest.

Ugh, Harbaugh's motives are so transparent.  He's not at this elementary school career day because he wants fully inform these 7-year-olds about their career options.  He's there because he loves his daughter and cares about her.  Disgusting.  It's the satellite camps and commencements speeches all over again.

The real victims here - like at the camps and speeches - are the other kids, who had a fun, memorable experience with absolutely no negative consequences.

If anyone had doubts as to what a Jackhammer with EUTM would look like, well.....

This is simply amazing. I have never seen a guy in the news as often as he is. And the crazy thing is, he's just doing his thing. He isn't holding 30 minute shows on ESPN, he isn't going on game shows or reality shows, he isn't in the news for anything negative. He is just always doing something that makes a great headline.

One of my favorite things to observe through all of Harbaugh's adventures, are the reactions from seemingly all of his competitors (media, coaches, players, GM's, AD's, etc.). They absolutely despise Harbaugh. He is getting under their skin by simply doing his job better than anyone else. They say he takes things too far, and therefore is to blame for the ban on satellite camps. They say he is an attention whore, and the Big Blue Wall in the media is paid to promote his antics. They say we'll be out with torches and pitchforks by year 4 becuase he is tarnishing the Michigan Brand with his "childish antics", poor sportsmanship, and bad attitude.

I look forward to every week just to see what Jim Harbaugh is doing. He truly is a machine, with his sights set on what is most important to him: family, and The University of Michigan.

Great QB that has defied all that said he was "too small" and "too injured" and all that to have one of the all time great careers as a QB. And seems like a genuinely good guy to boot, he's been great in the NO community since he's been a Saint. So it's good to see him hanging out with Harbaugh here. Wonder what their connection is prior to this, would love to know that story.

Bring your dad or mom to class, maybe a relative if they work for the police or fire department. But I mean, Drew Brees. Really? Seriously? Was he just stopping by the Harbaugh household for a visit?

I mean the guy could get most anyone. I love this guy. He is the epitome of a guy living life to its maximum and you know what, it's because he came back home, that this has freed him to do so.

He goes to the Capitol for the State of the Union, he talks to SI about satellite camp stuff, still has to write his commencement address to the senior class at Paramus Catholic High School,

I don't know whether any of you have been to his daughter's school or Paramus Catholic High School. I've actually been inisde both schools. It's like turning the clock back to your childhood when you go there. And he looks just like the happiest guy in the world posing in that classroom with all those kids.

I love this guy. What a role model for living life to the absolute fullest and enjoying every opportunity to share and make a moment special.

I wonder what are the odds that all these kids know who Drew Brees is.

My 8 year old son said "some baseball guy" gave a talk at school earlier in the school year. That baseball guy was Mariano Rivera.
