I hate when I make a brilliantly witty comment, then someone replies with a sort of witty comment that isn't nearly as funny or original, and yet their comment somehow gets more up votes than mine.
I mean honestly, all the hard work I put into entertaining you people and this is the treatment I get.

Or, for the more severely humor-challenged, you might preface a b.w.c. with a straightforward alert: "This is a joke."
