I was under the assumption that Desmond pretty much said it would be in AA.. Since we know he's gonna be there.. and he's part of Gameday..

this will be awesome if/when it happens.  The first real test for the new staff and schemes, plus all the recruits and commits that will be there, plus GameDay!  Sign me up.

Yes, PSU/BAMA is a pretty good game that week but...

Is it their first night game in 100+ years?

Is it the first time those teams are wearing different uniforms in 30+ years?

and no, it's not one of the more intense rivalries between the 2 teams with the most tradition in all of college football.

Not to mention that both teams will probably undeafeated with a whopping 1-0 record.

BKfinest it.  Game Day will be in Ann Arbor week two.

This news leaked on a Friday (I believe) after all the Gameday / College Football Live teams were together in NYC.

I would be shocked if it wasn't Ann Arbor.

Yup, I've seen a ton supporting this.  Erin Andrews even tweeted and implied it's very likely it would be in Ann Arbor.

Plus, there may be some big SEC games, but there's only one thing the ESPN loves more than the SEC.......Notre Dame.

After that nail-biter last year?

Don't think they will be stopping in Happy Valley for that one.

I could see them doing Utah USC. It is the pac12 opener and I remember Fowler once saying he hated doing gameday in AA.

Would be total bs if it is not in AA.

Fowler has bashed Ann Arbor a few times.  I think it goes back to the late '90s when fans still had bitter memories of the Kordell Stewart game and took it out on him (he's a CU grad).  Also, Corso (for the '79 IU game) and Herbstreit (for obvious reasons) have always taken their share of ribbing around here.  Hopefully we'll treat them a little better this time around.

This confirms my suspicion from months ago when it was first announced. The only way the would not come is if we drop the opener to SDSU which is highly unlikely.
