The way the Lion's D stepped up in the 3rd and 4th quarter is most assuredly bang-worthy. I've seen them lose so, so many of these types of games.

I was pleased with how the defense looked, but I noticed that the Chiefs' tackle was moving before the snap. I thought maybe I was missing something, but then this article came out:
You know you are doing something right if your opponent has to cheat to get a step on you.

How in the world do the refs not see that? And there were multiple false starts that were never called either.
I guess you can't blame the offensive lineman if the refs let him get away with it. And who can blame him, going up against AH!

Multiple holds, too - blantant holds. Tackles. Right directly in front of an unblocked linesman responsible for making holding calls. They just let it all go. Called it twice all game - out of about 20 opportunities.
The officiating in that game was as bad as the 2016 OSU game...

Sounds like the Lions won by beating both the Chiefs and refs.

Nothing will EVER be as bad as OSU 16, but you are correct. That RT went all Sparty mode:
1) False Start on EVERY passing down - It was so bad that Trico and Collingsworth were laughing about it in the broadcast that he was getting away with is
2) Lining up off the LOS - It was so bad that even the NBC TV Ref (a former NFL ref) called out his own people for letting him get away with being so far in the backfield. In most cases he was at least 1.5 yards off the LOS and his right foot cocked back another yard. Thus eliminating any potential for a speed rush...
3) The holding - Arm bars, bear hugs, grabbing the jersey and ripping down. That Back Judge should be ashamed for allowing all that crap to go on all game long. And I don't want to hear the old saying that everyone holds on every play. These "penalties" were out in the open for everyone to see...

There are only three reasonable explanations for the non-calls:
1) The game officials are grossly ignorant about the rules they're supposed to enforce
2) The game officials have significant vision impairments
3) The game officials were intentionally letting things go out of deference to KC
Regardless of which explanation is correct, they should all lose their NFL officiating jobs.

The league is in charge of the officials, they were just making sure they kept their jobs by doing what their bosses told them to do.

It would have been the most Lions thing ever if they would have lost due to the ridiculously poor officiating.
Like the time the Seahawks LB batted the ball out of the EZ on the last play of the game on MNF. Like the Calvin Johnson Catch. ETC!
