like Turner at #2 and having a WR in Stokes as a #4. I'm not a fan, however, of Denard as #16. 16 seems like a lot of fabric to weight the guy down and ruin his speed. Damn you football gods! Also, I noticed Craig Roh is listed as an OLB. That seems new to me. When did this happen?

Je'Ron Stokes hoping to be the next David Terrell? Hopefully without the NFL faceplant. Who was wearing 86 last year? I'm having a brainfart...I bought my Super Mario jersey a few years ago and I'm too cheap to buy a new one...

how 2 players can wear the same number ... i understand that they wont be on the field at the same time ... but really we dont need to have over 100 players on game day (i dont think we even can?)

As far as I know, we can have as many as we want for home games, but only 85 can be on scholarship. Also, even if we have less than 100 for each game, which guys are left off are different for almost every game. You can't reassign numbers throughout the season because you have a different guy taking a spot. Keep in mind also that there are 5 numbers retired, so you only have 94 options (can't use zero).

Walker wore #4 Terrell was # 1 his whole time at M. I think the 4 for stokes seems odd. I didn't think he was a RS candidate with how high coach Rod was of him in the signing day presser. Side note: Denard got his HS # nice of Cone to switch for him

Going through the roster, I was struck by the massive infusion of walk-ons. RR is being very aggressive in giving out preferred walk-ons. This is great in the era of 85 scholarships. Especially excited about OLs Adam Barker from Adrian and Tom Lindley from New York. Both those guys had other D1 offers but wanted to come here. Also FB Jonny Childers from Muskegon.

Jeremy Gallon wearing 29 seems counterintuitively awesome. I would have pegged him for something symmetrical, like 8 or 22 (11 is retired, I believe, for the Wistert brothers). 29 is innocuous. He's coming out of nowhere! Ha-cha-cha-cha!
