I too would choose Northwestern over State if given the chance. My kid brother is a Sparty but if I'm gonna smell cow shit and live in cornfields for 4 years, it ain't gonna be in East Lansing. I would (and did) head up 127 to Mt Pleasant and be able to just walk right out my front door into a cornfield. Seclusion can be nice.
