10 weeks 3 days ago	Offensive Goaltending	Makes no sense. I have never understood how an offensive player tipping in a basket was made illegal if the ball is in a virtually impossible to determine from most angles imaginary cylinder. Defensive goaltending makes sense.
42 weeks 6 days ago	Why not use the 10 yard line markers	wouldn't it make sense to use the 10s for the 10 yard line for the B1G logos. It would really just be adding a "B" to the field. less clutter is better.

1 year 36 weeks ago	this was a celebratory post	I like coach Carr, he coached a number of great teams and they were so good because of his leadership and I'm thankful for the years he was coach. He did however lack in one area and that was to be aggressive when there was a chance at playing it safe. There was a fear that Hoke would be that same way. I am thoroughly enjoying the guts of the playcall tonight going for it all.
1 year 42 weeks ago	Both teams	2008 Utah & 2010 SDSU had 9-4 seasons with a win over Navy in the Poinsettia. That's as close as could be. Back in '08 the jury was out on Whittingham too. Utah's undefeated run was not expected they didn't have Boise St. or TCU like hype. Which is why we as a Michigan fanbase came to grips with that particular loss retroactively late in that season.

2 years 12 weeks ago	The bigger issue	The bigger issue is that the arena is outdated. Oiler fans still fill the building to capacity every night even when the team is not competitive in an outdated rink. So are you saying that since Oiler fans have established themselves as a working class and extremely loyal fanbase they should not want a modern arena downtown?  This narrow view of yours is ridiculous. Edmonton is a city that will sell out a bigger arena when built and it could use a downtown arena district to revitalize a boring unused downtown core.
2 years 16 weeks ago	Dual	I'm a Dual Citizen. I was Born in Grosse Pointe Farms. Only lived in the Detroit area for 2 years of my life but my dad older brother got hooked. I was raised a Michigan fan and never swayed. I moved to Edmonton, AB at 18 to go to a Christian Institution, met my wife and have stayed lived here ever since.
2 years 17 weeks ago	Trick plays	Especially the one other teams do where the qb lines up as a wr. The defense couldn't afford to ignore Robinson like they do almost every qb that lines up out wide. I know multiple QBs on the field has been joked about a lot in the last 2 years but in the case of a trick played I'd love to see it. Denard coming around in motion on a reverse pass would also be fun to watch.
2 years 17 weeks ago	Denard Robinson	Soph: 2,570 yards passing, 18TDs, 11 INTs. 1702 yards rushing (6.6 YPC) 14 TD. Michigan had 35 total rushing TD's this year and that team in Ohio in '06 had 25 so they didn't pad Robinson's passing stats near the goal line. So the big differences are Robinson had 5 more INT's and 1498 more rushing yds. which was needed since the team didn't have any RB's that played as well as Pittman did for them that year.

2 years 18 weeks ago	This is ridiculous	I bet one of the things you love about Michigan is the amount of integrity that it has shown over the years, and dealing with internal problems the right way. You cant have this and also demand David Brandon not live up to his word on how he would conduct the search. He treated Rich Rodriguez like a human being and I respect that over getting some big name by sleazy standards. Your Florida CC analogy is stupid. Meyer retired, Rodriguez was not retained. Big Difference. Unfortunately more coaches would rather have the Florida job than the Michigan job right now, I hope that changes soon.
2 years 19 weeks ago	To be clear to the original post I want Jim Harbaugh.	He was my favorite NFL qb growing up. I lived in Chicago while he was a Bear, I loved watching him as a Colt. I still think the Colts were robbed by that play Kordell Stewart was out of bounce and came back in to catch the AFC championship winning TD. I wanted Harbaugh back in 07 when he had won a NC with San Diego. The circus around Harbaugh this month is crazy. I am beginning to think of the other options after Harbaugh. Hoke is someone I think has the potential to overachieve and be a good coach at Michigan. Whoever the next HC is will have to deal with a lot of bs expectations and myths of bs expectations that the local media hold in too lofty idealistic standards. EDIT: I also think the lambasting of Hoke on this board is terrible and could possibly make the job harder than it needs to be if he happens to be hired. We don't need the next coach having similar challenges that handicapped Rodriguez while he was here. It took the wind out of the sails of a good coach and I don't want to see a portion of the fanbase / media create unnecessary obstacles to overcome within the support system of Michigan football.

2 years 19 weeks ago	I was trying to bring perspective against the growing myth	Bo's statement was an indictment on Frieder not an endorsement for Fisher, it's better to have an interim coach them somebody who wants to be somewhere else. On another note: I think Jim Tressel who was an unpopular choice has been so successful because of his passion for OSU. I know he has the best state for recruiting outside of the south and big budgets and proved himself to be a good coach at other levels, but without his passion he he'd be like John Cooper. Cooper had great talent but lost meaningful games. OSU dominates the bigten because of their coaches passion has been adopted by their players. I want to see Michigan match that internal passion for the team by the coaches and then the players. That will all depend on how passionate the next HC leads.
2 years 19 weeks ago	Anybody who thinks...	Harbaugh = Lloyd Carr Is crazy. Harbaugh has a tenacity that shows up in his players that Michigan never had with Carr on offense. The 97 defense the huge exception.
2 years 22 weeks ago	A switch of Wisconsin & Nebraska	Would solve all of this. The divisions would still be even and the rivalries would make more sense. Then you could very logically do great lakes / plains or north south would work as well. The B1G decision on Wisconsin is screwing these division lines and consequently names up.

2 years 24 weeks ago	frustrating	I have played through 1 season and found that the gameplay was really frustrating. It seemed like some of those older games where only some of the plays work and other just don't work regardless of the situation.  Receivers drop passes at a frustrating level. Running the ball with the rb can be pretty easy. I ended up pulling a Wisconsin and abandoned the pass, Mike Shaw had a big season. I doubt I'll ever play a 2nd season. $5 - its debatably worth it.
2 years 25 weeks ago	Champion	Harbough won a national championship at San Diego. RR hasn't won one on any level. Your argument that RR's potential winning future championships is greater doesn't make sense. Harbough is not equivalent to Lloyd Carr. He is a much more aggressive coach. Maybe a little more like Moeller when the offensive game plan was play to win and score at every chance instead of conservative playcalling / playing not to lose and allowing lesser teams to stay close.

2 years 27 weeks ago	these were my favorites	Classic Style with modern well fitting V-neck  The new ones are an improvement from the stretched scoop neck look we've had the past few years. They have an awkwardly looking neck that seems to be too big.
2 years 32 weeks ago	Good friends wedding	I'm a groomsman. Starts a 1/2 hour before game time. Its worth it for a friend this close. But my heart is torn in being away from the tv at gametime, especially considering this years heightened excitement. I live in Alberta where NCAA football is not a consideration. I hope my justintv app works during pictures.

2 years 35 weeks ago	Tate '09 vs Denard '10 stats are misleading	Tate was the best QB on the team last year. But through the first four games he was not given the opportunity to play full games. Denard has played all but 3 snaps this year. Tate wasn't given the chance to rack up stats. The WMU 2nd half was a mess with QB's rotating in and out and no one was able to get in a rhythm (31 first half points and 0 second).  ND he was given almost the full game and had over 310 yards of total off. The game against EMU Tate had 13 passes and 6 runs Indiana also one of the first four games is the one he was hurt in. I thought the biggest mistake last year was that the coaching staff didn't let Tate stay in games long enough to get offensive timings and rhythms going that could've set up a dynamic conference season. The QB switches of last year didn't lose any of the first 4 games but it certainly didn't help the team going into the rest of their season. We would not be hearing all the same hype and accolades for Denard if he was pulled for the majority of UConn and pieces of ND.  I'm glad that the coaches have put their confidence and full games of snaps to Denard this year so far.
2 years 36 weeks ago	Gloves	In 2008 our guys came out in the rain in Adidas gloves having just switched brands in the off season. No one on ND had Adidas gloves and they have been with that brand for years. They came out with Cutters instead of Adidas. They held on to the ball and our guys could not. I hope the team chooses gloves wisely after that debacle.
