Football team to wear racial equality stickers on helmets

Is the hand on the far right that of an albino, mannequin, or vampire?

No, it’s my winter skin tone.

Por que no Los tres?

eSports team. They never go outside.

Genuinely, I think it's meant to represent albino skin color. The fist immediately to the left qualifies as typical caucasian pigment level. I could be wrong of course. Or, if I'm not, too bad they didn't also represent vitiligo.

Pretty sure that's a skeleton. Goth Lives Matter.
October 22nd, 2020 at 7:20 PM ^
It’s sad that you even have to put skin tones next to “equality”. But I guess that is the world we live in...that some need reminding that “equality” is for everyone.

Multi-colored/toned fists,... should be crushing an OSU buckeye (acorn-nut) with a likeness of Brutus
October 22nd, 2020 at 5:44 PM ^
its a multi pigmented shell game. can u guess which hand is squeezing a nut??
October 22nd, 2020 at 5:25 PM ^
I think the single word "Equality" is great. From a design standpoint, the fists don't work and frankly aren't necessary.
October 22nd, 2020 at 5:43 PM ^
Let’s play ball.

Standing for the anthem is certainly fine with me—I've done it every game I've attended, and I don't believe I'm a racist. Not standing for it is also OK with me.
As far as leaving the politics out of it goes, Willis Ward and Gerald Ford might want to have a word.
October 22nd, 2020 at 5:56 PM ^
I also like the single word "equality."
October 22nd, 2020 at 8:16 PM ^
If it were just the word equality with no pictures, how would OSU fans follow along?
October 22nd, 2020 at 5:50 PM ^
I think this is great! Go Blue!
October 22nd, 2020 at 5:56 PM ^
Racism is bad.
October 22nd, 2020 at 6:00 PM ^
I can only assume that there is an Asian yellow fist in there, but it just blends into the background.
October 22nd, 2020 at 6:04 PM ^
There is also a fist from the Blue Man Group, but it is hard to spot.
October 22nd, 2020 at 6:11 PM ^
I'll tell you who needs some loving togetherness stickers on their helmets. Nascar drivers.

Stickers = thoughts and prayers. Stop the virtue signaling and start helping and improving your local communities no matter where you live.
October 23rd, 2020 at 9:13 AM ^
Hmm, sounds like complaining about virtue signaling by performing vague virtue signaling. Since it appears that you’re implying that you’re doing more than stickers, I would like to know the list of things that you’ve done, personally, to help out the community this year. .
October 23rd, 2020 at 9:49 AM ^
They’re bringing attention to the issue. That IS helping. Look, we’re talking about it here now. It’s brought the conversation to the forefront of MGoBlog so you can complain about it.

Honestly think it’s a good compromise between the BLM/Antifa crowd and the America loving crowd. Good job Blue!
October 23rd, 2020 at 12:26 AM ^
Is this a joke? You think the “American” loving and a violent Antifa crowd need compromise?
October 23rd, 2020 at 3:14 AM ^
Antifa = anti-fascism. Last thing I seem to recall, fighting fascism is a good thing.
Seems like, too, that people who fight fascism quite likely love American ideals too, no?
”... with liberty and justice for all”, right?
I’ll admit, I’ve marched in PDX many times, been tear gassed this last go-round, spent many nights on the Diag, sleeping in shanties protesting M’s investment in So Africa, die-ins at Briarwood and in the Law Quad during the first Persian Gulf War (Crimes). (M granted me both a BA and JD). I met Rosa Parks when we brought her to Bursley, circa 1985-86ish and was in awe and inspired by her inner power and serenity.
I’ve sued the city, county, state and federal govt for civil rights violations, and helped expose all types of police misconduct.
But under all the graffiti on the PDX federal courthouse (the center of the protests) there is carved a perfectly placed Jefferson (reductionist slaveholder) quote: “the boisterous sea of liberty is never w/o a wave.”
I’m anti-fascist and I love my country too. And I love M and all for which she stands.
October 23rd, 2020 at 9:53 AM ^
For some reason, people seem to think that in order for you to love your country you have to accept and support everything that your country does. Good or bad.
But really, loving your country would mean you want your country to be the best that it can be. And that inherently means standing up against injustice and speaking out when the wrong thing is being done. Holding those in charge responsible.
Personally I compare it to parenting. Do you only love your child if you support everything they do and see no wrong in their actions? Or is your love shown by holding them accountable and raising them to be the best person they can be?

well you do live in Indiana, the only state south of Mississippi
October 22nd, 2020 at 11:35 PM ^
Win and I’m all for the stickers. Lose and start worrying about football.
October 23rd, 2020 at 2:37 AM ^
I hope Joe throws 7 TDs in the first half and gets a lot more stickers on this helmet at halftime, those being wolverine stickers.
