It’s comical at this point and, in a peculiar way, I am disappointed in UM for the execution as much as any ethical issue.
This seems like “amateur hour” or a program put together by a Texas HS. A bunch of random guys with phones and a shared drive, all for a free ticket and some ego points.
I cannot fathom any knowledge by JH or the actual coaching staff.

Frankly it feeds right into what UM would want to the story to become. There's no question there was advance scouting. But this update just further paints Stalions as a rogue actor. It also places the methods of scouting squarely in the gray areas of a poorly written NCAA bylaw.

I wondered what would come out in this 24 hour daily release. I cant tell you how many heads will explode if we arent banned from football for a decade. All rival fan bases currently think what we did is beyond anyone except maybe SMU. It wont end well for them.

I’ve met some real doozies in the military. Especially with regard to how dimwitted Stalions actions have been. But for every person that has no idea how to keep things secure, there’s thousands that can. He’s the exception.

100% agree. I've been fortunate with being around extremely quality people in my military career. He truly is the exception.
But more concerning to me is that he is a service academy graduate, and keeping rivalries aside, I have to wonder why this guy got as far as he did at Navy and them into the Marine Corps. Not worried that there may be more of him, but rather why the system didn't weed him out earlier.

I met a Marine general and former centcom commander at the Marine Club in SF a number of years ago. He was well spoken, well educated, and well informed on multiple theaters of operations.
I’m not easily impressed. He was impressive.
