I’m all in for this. The wife and I had this conversation last night. Warde has let Harbaugh down so many times it’s unbelievable. From not vetting hires to the contract and basically being a spineless tub of goo. Michigan deserves better than this facility upgrader. Santa has been more of an AD than this guy.

Manuel remains an empty suit with an unmitigated hate for Jim Harbaugh. There was all kinds of defiance yesterday on the TKA roundtable that Michigan would "sue the NCAA" if there was an attempt at a post-season ban this year. Color me skeptical. Such a spine would have to come from Ono, because it sure as hell isn't coming from Manuel.

I completely disagree with you. How would Ono and our Manuel know the feelings of their alumni/fanbase on specific issues unless there is communication?
I will write a letter detailing my feelings and what I believe needs to be done. I will also mention in passing that I and my children have combined six degrees from U of M and two medical residencies at Michigan Medicine and attendance at the law school.
It will take me ten minutes to write the letter. Small price to pay for what seems like a situation designed to harm the reputation of the University, Our membership in an organization, the NCAA, that leaks unproven allegations but does not allow for a means of countering those leaks with facts also needs to be noted.

Fair enough. As long as you are aware it is highly unlikely Ono or Warde will read these themselves and will most likely only hear from a staffer, "sir, you got another 5000 emails today that seem to largely support Jim Harbaugh," then have at it!

Why does anyone need to write in to the University to express support for Coach Harbaugh? Aren't Ono and Manuel on Harbaugh's (also THE UNIVERSITY THEY WORK FOR) side? This all seems redundant. A complete waste of time and effort.

Nope. I know folks in political, administrative, and executive positions. Lots of e-mail on a topic definitely gets their attention. They might not read themselves, might be a staffer who summarizes the sentiment, but it definitely gets attention.

I think maybe we should wait. I'm not supposed to share this but I have a source that shared the scoop on the coach interviews yesterday. It's going to come out at sime point so I'm sharing for damage control here. We gotta figure out how to get in front of this.
The reason for the conflicting reports on the interviews yesterday was because everyone expected the coaches to get interviewed yesterday. Ono, Warde, the NCAA, everyone.
Well, expect Jim and his staff. They were supposed to show up but no showed everyone. They left Ono and Warde to handle it..without telling Ono and Warde they wouldn't be there. Bad look for everyone. The writers with NCAA sources went ahead and reported the interviews were happening because the NCAA thought they would. The beat writers then got the late day scoop that none happened.
I don't know what's going to happen but Ono and Warde are not happy and these emails might make it worse. Jim keeps poking the NCAA bear. He's just making it worse and worse for post-jim Michigan by not cooperating. Digging us deeper and deeper, daring them to do something.
I love that he gave them an F U but I wish he did it with the admin support.
