I'm not sure I've heard a more spot on impersonation of anyone as this

That's so good it's scary

Amazing! So close it sounds like a recording of Hoke.

That's some Grade A lip sync right there.

Pipkins had the walk/strut/waddle down though.

Fantastic!

Well, it was a pretty good impression. Good effort, loved the intensity.

I watched it 4 times. That was spot on.

So good it will never get old
August 28th, 2014 at 8:52 PM ^
The only thing missing is saying something like "physicalness".

if and when he chooses or needs to make this a commercial talent. Wow, that is an incredible impersonation.
He and Pipkens could go on the road.
August 28th, 2014 at 8:54 PM ^
he needs to do a sequel "from a standpoint of toughness."
August 28th, 2014 at 8:57 PM ^
Tremendous

Really fantastic impression. Just can't believe he used "uhh..." instead of the obvious "well..."
August 28th, 2014 at 9:21 PM ^
First word used was 'well'
August 28th, 2014 at 9:27 PM ^
I'm glad I saw this one. I never got to see the Pipkens impression which I heard was also excellent.
Nice one Mr. Mealer.
Need even moar wells.

Maybe a touch higher pitched than Hoke but when he first started speaking I was startled how good it was
August 28th, 2014 at 9:39 PM ^
Sounded JUST like him. Just needed a "weeeeellllllllllll"
August 28th, 2014 at 11:05 PM ^
Well Count: +1
He even got the cadence right. Well uhh ya know...I can tell ya, Elliott Mealer is everything you want in a Brady Hoke impression, uhh sounds just like him, uhh uses "well, ya know" perfectly, uh most of all uhh executes the rhythm. You sir have earned yourself the coveted Hoke double point award.

That's Fred Travolina doing Rich Little doing Elliot Mealer doing Brady Hoke. Such a talent. Breathtaking.
August 28th, 2014 at 11:18 PM ^
This is absolutely incredible.
August 28th, 2014 at 11:37 PM ^
That was amazing. I legitimately thought it was Hoke at first.
August 28th, 2014 at 11:41 PM ^
He needs to put this skill to good use. Like calling up Urban Meyer and telling him to Fuck Off.
Good times.

That's amazing. I just watched that about a dozen times, with actual Hoke press conference video in between. Hoke's voice gets a little higher when he's answering questions. Pretty damn spot on.
August 29th, 2014 at 6:24 AM ^
That was amaing. He has Hoke down perfecty.
August 29th, 2014 at 8:41 AM ^
Very well done. Like others,Pickens did an excellent job too. Espically, the walk...HA!!

Elliott Mealer, for the win!

I think it was on ESPN, they superimposed the player's lips over a still image of Lou, a la Clutch Cargo. It was fantastic. Can't find the video, a guy put out a plea for it two years ago. Mealer's clip lacks the visual (tough to picture Hoke with a beard) but the audio is top shelf. He was working with Instagram, so he had to speak a little faster than Hoke would in order to finish his sentence. Word choice was very good.
