Yes, but there is one in campaign.

Apparently something that sounds inflammatory was allegedly said by our coach maybe. But yet you fail to provide a link or the full context of the comment. OP, generally these types of posts don't fare too well without a solid reference.

It's not like it was the thread right below this one.

If it's wrong to be this excited about the start of the Michigan football season, I don't want to be right.

Damn. Much better than Pipkins from a couple years ago.

It's not just your opinion. Toppling Goliath is brewing better beer in almost every category than any brewer in Michigan. And it's not even close. That said, I'm originally from Michigan and still appreciate their many excellent breweries. If you have a spare Assassin, hook a brother up. Cheers!

If you live in Oregon and haven't tried Boneyard, do so ASAP. I'd guess kegs show up in Portland, but if not, drive to Bend immediately and visit the brewery for growlers. Then ship me one! Try Hop Venom and RPM. World class IPAs.

Tired Hands is really nice. Wish they could better pour/carb their growlers. Maybe they'll invest in better equipment as part of the expansion. Need to try Pizza Boy. Have heard good things. I think Troegs makes some very nice, not quite elite brews.

How about overhyped? It's a solid beer for its style and Bells does some great marketing. Not a beer I ever seek out these days.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Definitely Vermont and not||
Definitely Vermont and not just for Heady Topper. How about Hill Farmstead, the best brewery most people have never tried. How about Lawson's Finest Liquids, makers of Double Sunshine which arguably is even better than Heady. Fiddlehead is also making some good brews.

The app released a week or so ago by Erich Graham, MGoBlogHD:
Not sure who he is--hopefully a Michigan fan--or if it's official or not, but I do like it a lot. Currently my MGo app of choice. Recommended.

Agree Chicago has a very good beer scene. Note that Zombie Dust is not an IPA, but an APA. A term like hottest is quite subjective, but a hotter, and arguably better APA, is PseudoSue by Toppling Goliath Brewing from Decorah, Iowa. You should definitely look into them. They're killing it across many styles.

I did drop in at Snake River mostly because of Pakos which I had found previous year up in Montana. It's a very nice brew, their best IMO. Have also had some of the Grand Teton brews which are distributed in both WY and MT. Lewis & Clark makes some decent beers as well. Their Tumbleweed IPA is highly rated. I prefer Pakos which is bit less malty.

Funny you should mention Thai Me Up, I was there two weeks ago on vacation. Had several Melvin Brewing beers. Unfortunately 2x4 was not on but a couple brews were pretty solid. So yeah, there is definitely one, maybe only one, Thai restaurant with good beer. Cheers!

Off to eat Thai food, so something average (does any Thai restaurant have good beer?). When I get home, probably a Carton Boat and/or a Heady Topper. Cheers All!

Hot damn! This is awesome news. Welcome aboard Mr. Weber. Grow Blue!

Nuss is intense and instills a sense of urgency that the program needs desperately. Sure, it's only a practice video, but if it represents the lessons that are being drilled into the players' heads every day, there is reason to be hopeful.

Good to be reminded how special the program is and its incredible reach and impact. God bless Stephen, a Michigan fan, a Michigan man.

|15 weeks 4 days ago||It came to me in a dream||
I have very vivid memories of watching Ty's highlights the first time. At some point I stopped counting how many times he ran for 50+ yds TDs. It was incredible, bordering on comical. That was when I dreamed of seeing him play in a winged helmet. The whole USC thing from the "accidentally" bumping into Arnold Schwarzenegger during a recruiting trip to the eventual commitment really stung.
I always felt we were the perfect fit for Ty. And now it all happens, even if a year or two later.
Welcome aboard young man! And Go Blue!
|15 weeks 5 days ago||Nice work||
This has been done on the Interwebs before where I've seen B10 programs mapped to GoT families. In that case Michigan was equated with the Lannisters.
As far as the OP's take, I agree on most with one huge exception, the Ohio State as Tywin. Any time you say superior intellect and Ohio State, you have completely lost me. If you were doing B10 coaches, I might buy Urban as Tywin, but as another poster already suggested, Little Finger is a much better fit. I had recently gone through this with a friend and fellow M grad. The Hoke = HODOR! was unavoidable. And yes, I've learned to have a much healthier sense of humor about our program lately.
