the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

this evening has started with Daisy Cutter Pale Ale, a fine Midwestern libation. From there I may go with the more intoxicating, ominous, but utterly delicious On the Wings of Armageddon by DC Brau. Cheers.

If you have web access: Listen live from your computer on iHeart Radio
There is also an iHeart Radio app for iPhone, Android, and other mobile devices.

Still up as of now here: http://vinebox.co/u/327526
Some of these are absolutely brilliant. Deserves more publicity, discussion on the blog IMO.

As long as they are marked as such ($) and not too much content behind the link is copy/pasted publicly here. Guidelines are here: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/meta-premium-information-policy
Like many others, I signed up for ESPN when TomVH started there, so I checked the nation site but came up empty. Appreciate the ($) link if someone has it.

that he doesn't have a commitable offer? BOOM! #UFM'd!

Didn't see anything about this. Can you provide a link please?

Lawrence Marshall has asked Sam Webb to come on live this Friday to announce his trimmed down list. So unless he's trolling really hard, maybe he's trimmed it all the way down to one...Michigan. Either way seems like this will play out quickly. Been an interesting few weeks for recruiting.

The days of elite players from national programs staying to graduate are past us. I don't fault Trey or other contemporary players for leaving early if their draft stock is at or near peak. Now if you mean if he ever graduates, i.e., he fulfilles graduation requirements after leaving a la Juwan Howard, then perhaps I can agree with you.

Who would have believed that two years ago as we bemoaned losing Darius Morris to the NBA that a young man from the belly of the beast would come and in two short years help us win our first B10 title since 1986, guide us to a #1 regular season ranking, win every player of the year award that matters, return us to our first NCAA title game since 1993, and then leave as a certain NBA lottery pick.
Trey Burke, one for the ages. Best of luck. You done good kid.

Came on to check Burke's status and when I saw the Server Unavailable I let myself dream that he decided to stay and the board blew up.
Well either way, this is very, very tremendous news! Welcome Drake.

Lot of poorly officiated games. Sometimes the calls swing your way--see game, Syracuse--and sometimes like tonight they don't. But let's not act like the refs denied us the victory. That's disrespectful to both teams who played one of the best NCAA Finals we've seen. Sucks we lost, but I'm proud of the way we fought the entire tournament including tonight. No shame in losing to that Louisville squad. They're a damned fine team.

Is this what passes for trash talk these days? Not impressed.
Besides it's doubtful Michigan needs any extra motivation at this stage of the game.

Wow! Probably some I missed and hopefully at least one more coming.
Congrats to Trey on his outstanding accomplishments.

From ESPN article, "The 71-point swing by VCU -- from a 46-point win to a 25-point loss -- was the largest in NCAA tournament history. In 1968, Houston beat Texas Christian 103-68 to reach the Final Four, then lost to UCLA 101-69 for a 67-point swing."

Imagine my surprise when I noticed after reading this more philosophical thought piece that it was not from the pen of Brian. Damn good read. Hats off to BiSB. Hope there is more where this came from.

Being disappointed at times comes with the territory. But go back and read some of the comments again. They were not nearly as innocuous as your example. Curious how many of the more vicious personal attacks would be uttered while in the stands in Ann Arbor. People "keeping it real" like that might get their ass whooped.
