Oregon State/Houston  on CBS a the moment.  5-4 Cougars 5 minutes in.

Also happening is UConn/Baylor on ESPN for the women.  Ridiculous pace, 26-24 after a quarter.

I'm confused.

Houston is up 12-4 with about 11 minutes remaining in the game. (Yuck! This is ugly offensive basketball. But I'm sure defensive coaches will love it.)

Also, some Arkansas fans seemed surprisingly confident about tonight's game against #1 Baylor.

That said, I think Baylor/Houston would be an incredible Final Four game.

This is like an Softball World Series from 15-20 years ago...7 teams from the west plus Michigan.  UCLA, Oregon St.  Just missing the AZ schools.

This side of the bracket had awful games on Saturday as well for the most part except for Arkansas and Oral Roberts. The other games were in the 50’s and 60’s.

Watching his current game and watching Michigan play is like the difference between a bad Jr. High contest and a well-played HS game. Michigan isn't the most physically talented team-they win because they play the game so damn well.

It remains ugly basketball-and not particularly good...doesn't matter what kenpom says. Michigan, Juwan, does not let you get by with chaos. Teams are stunned when this reality smacks them up side the head. Michigan plays with uncommon composure and makes teams pay for gambling.

Okay, but what was that two man lob-keep away thing they were doing with eight minutes left? The "two corners" offense? C'mon

Lately, after watching Michigan play and then you go watch other college games, the contrast is stark. Juwan is coaching this team to a different level.

Too bad Nalyssa Smith didn't shoot like this two days ago.  We'd be in this game.

Paige Bueckers is kind of hilariously a 5* freshman in all respects.  Including just taking some possessions off, especially on defense.

Cool, cool.

I'm glad I'm not the only one still watching both tournaments.

Regardless of how one feels about the quality of college women's basketball, I find that the women's tournament delivers starting from the sweet 16 but definitely from the elite 8 and on (when just the true elites w/ very stacked teams are playing against each other).

Houston is playing really solid defense but Oregon St. is also starting to look like the team that snuck into the tournament and doesn't play a particularly sustainable brand of basketball.

The Lady Bears are beating UConn by 9 late in the 3rd quarter. Man, if only Michigan had been able to hold on to their overtime lead.

This Baylor/UConn Elite 8 game should embolden/motivate our women's team to dream BIG for next season.

If WBB improves upon the turnovers (which has been a problem for multiple seasons), the team can win the Big Ten RS Championship and reach a Final Four.

This team is much closer to national championship contention than most believe. But they have to attack this off-season with a relentless growth mindset to improve, improve, and improve some more on the known/obvious weaknesses.

Seriously...I thought Bama had an easy run to the E8 (before they lost, obvi) but Houston is going to make it to the FF by beating 15, 10, 11, and 12 lol...that's unreal. Has anyone ever had that 'easy' of a run?

Meanwhile, until last night, M was staring down the chance of chalk the entire way. In THIS tourney. Wild.

Houston's maybe the best OReb in the country but they are just murdering Oregon St there.  This game is likely a single digit lead if Houston didn't get at minimum 3 shots per possession.

UConn on a 19-0 run. Wow. WTF.

Baylor completely squandered a significant lead. Baylor PG (?)  going down with a hamstring injury completely discombobulated Baylor.

Since Baylor PG went down, turnovers have been a major problem.
