I've seen this movie before.

First thread is hateful and the OP get's negged back to zero.  The next day he's back up to 101 and posting about a great "pump me up" song, but gets negged below zero in his stupid and inflammatory comments.  Profile then disappears.

My future self welcomes you to Bolivia.

i have no interest in starting threads. There are plenty of stupid ones to particpate in, as-is. There are also many wonderfully insightful threads and posts. I've learned a lot about football on this forum and the various front page posts.

I'm mostly giving you a hard time, man. If this is your first account (which I assume it's not), I suggest coming up with a different mgoname if you plan on going forward with this. Creating mgonames out of emotion I would assume could lead to bad things. But then again, this is just the internet after all.

This is actually my first login here, though I've read for a few years (back before Hoke set the team on fire). If this one gets negged beyond reason, I'll just sign up with my real name - as you say, it's just the internet.

This is why I'm not a huge fan of the posbang threads.  A banned poster can come back under a new username, post a few times  in one of those threads and presto - 100 quick points.  Often it only takes a couple of cheesy BuzzFeed gifs to get to the century mark.

Not really a troll. The handle is my punny goodbuy to the man who interviewed during rivals week, shit the bed in embarrassing fashion when it mattered most, told recruits he definitely wasn't leaving, and then tried to take our recruiting coordinator with him on his way out. Leaving is fine, understandable, and great for him - all the other stuff is what earned him the "dickhead".

Gotta get a jump on all those hot Maryland recruiting leads, make sure the kids don't jump ship because they don't have Edsall, er, wait, whoever it was.

In my line of work, when you give notice to go work at a competitive agency, you are expected to leave immediately. You aren't even allowed to pack your office; they do it for you. You are now the competition. Seems to apply here, too.

@Wendyk5 - exactly right. When I left my last corporate gig, despite the fact I was completely changing gears and starting my own gig in an unrelated field, they immediately shut down my cellphone, my corporate credit card, access card to the office, email and login credentials, took back my laptop and had me pack up my office in the presence of someone from HR.

And I left on pretty good terms!

I just look at all 10 comments posted before your comment, and I don't see a single bitter comment.  All people are saying is that now that he works for a conference rival, he should obviously not coach our team in the bowl.  He would never be 100% focused on winning the game, with hiring a whole new staff, meeting his new team, recruitng for Maryland and re-arranging how personal life.  That's not bitterness, it is reality.

He was here for less than a year, interviewed for his new job with a conference rival DURING our biggest week of the season, prepared a terrible game plan for said week AND THEN tried to poach one of our better defensive recruiters on his way out the door.

What about this says we should wish him luck and think of him fondly as he moves on in his career? How do you think Bo would have reacted to any of those events?
