The crazy thing is, MSU was so bad as a team protecting the ball and Winston had such high usage that he had only the fourth worst TO rate on the team.
He turned it over just over a third of his possessions used at 36%. Ward was at 37%, Goins 57% with four TOs compared to just 5 shots and Aaron Henry, woof, had 4 TOs despite taking only 2 shots in 14 min.

Their record is bad, but Kenpom gives them the #2 strength of schedule in the country, and they've lost a bunch of close ones as well.
In fact, at the moment they are #69 on Kenpom. Nice.
