Edit: Rumor among USC fans on r/cfb is that Donte Williams is not being retained by USC and 2023 5* #1 QB Malachi Nelson just committed to USC so getting kinda scared that a bunch of top guys are all going to commit to USC tonight

You would have to think the sooner the better. Don't want USC getting involved, although they may have already I suppose. Having him be Riley's first big splash would be big news for them. Either way it will be nice if he doesn't wait.

After seeing that game and that atmosphere, and then watching coach Harbaugh willing to give up potentially millions of dollars to help those less fortunate than him while other coaches are leaving people in a lurch for nine figures - I could understand a quick decision.
