Did anyone catch the scoreboard shot of the Michigan SuperFan

Well Dave Brandon, that Fan Cam nonsense your crack staff started seems to have bitten you in the arse. Did anyone else catch the Michigan SuperFan on the video board in the second quarter. More specifically, did you catch his shirt. If I read it correctly, it's said " Mr. Brandon, if Bo was alive, he would slap the shit out of you". Anyone seen that shirt before and where does one get it?

I didn't see it. I can't imagine that shirt is from a local store. If it is, I'd guess Underground Printing? Seems more like the ones they sell on the street.

Someone mentioned it to me (I suspect livetweeting actually is quite delayed given the cellular traffic at games) and I thought - admittedly, my thinking is not always quality when I have been drinking - if perhaps there might be an opportunity to spin the dissatisfaction into more fun and get Brandon into a dunk tank and give fans, alums and boosters three shots for free. How long could that line get? Possibly quite long. 

Now that I am more or less sober, I realize that this was born from my own frustration but I was inspired by the shirt at the time.

I found out that MSU actually sells "recent alumni" season tickets. Reasonably priced for people who still want to sit near the student section. Brilliant, and I'm jealous. 

I wonder why we can't do something like that. Trim off a section or so from the students (at this point I don't blame them for not showing up, but we should get rid of that empty spot) and charge slightly more to recent alumni, have it count toward regular season ticket points. But whatever. For the first time since I can remember, I don't think I'll be watching a single game in the stadium this season, and I live in Royal Oak. Consider how much M football makes me want to drink, I don't think I should be driving an hour each way just to be sobering up in an overpriced stadium seat rather than plunking down at a bar in walking distance.

I'm kinda love-hate with the Superfan. Hell, I remember the entire season where he'd show up at games wearing anything but Michigan gear just to prove some crazy point no one quite got. Like, standing around at Crisler in his Water Buffalo hat and an orange Hawaiian shirt. He's a bit self-important, that's for sure. Seen him be a dick to other fans, too.

That being said, particularly at hockey games, he can be quite fun. And, of course, I love the shirt, even if I don't think he knows what he's talking about.

When the product on the field is shit, you have to bring in the wow factor in other areas. If Michigan was winning 10 games a year, big ten titles, and in the championship conversation, you don't have to manufacture the wow experience. The team sucks, so to keep fans entertained he has to do whatever he can
