Unfortunately, if I were to untie my shoes, I would fall flat on my face. And since I do not wear orthopedic shoes, I do not have velcro on them either.

I decided last weekend that I am wearing my shoes untied forever!!!
September 13th, 2010 at 3:26 PM ^
mine have been untied all day for Denard.

untied wing tips.
Already had one client ask me if I realized that my shoes were both untied. To which I replied, "Yup. Makes me work faster!" Then I explained why and it all made sense.
(at least to me)

posted this earlier in a different thread: http://plixi.com/p/44904935
(the other one is untied, I just happen to also be wearing a brace on it)

Went out to do some stuff all with my shoelaces untied, including a job inquiry because Denard > job.

Shoes have been untied now since middle school some 15 years ago...actually, it's not a bad feel.

I'm so supportive of Denard, my shoes don't even have laces!
September 13th, 2010 at 3:44 PM ^
I'm rolling with my un-tied puma swede low tops (custom maize and blue of course) All for you Denard!!!

isn't that an actress of the adult variety? I think you mean suede.

Get your mind out of the gutter. Or maybe it was a true mistake, and I just should.
My Sperry's have no laces.

How much you want to bet that MSU does something like double-knot day before we play them.
September 13th, 2010 at 3:55 PM ^
...but I do think Dantoinio will have all of his defenders practice yanking opponents' shoes off in the pile.

I know some people that go to MSU and this popped on my news feed:
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=101341909930465
"In response to what was perhaps the corniest Facebook event ever created, and the A-Hole that it was made to honor, this event is to top those douchebags down the road in Ann Arbor and to honor a REAL quarterback. So as the ND game approaches this weekend wear your coolest kicks around campus with the shoelaces TIED in honor of our great #8, Captain Kirk, and show the world, ESPECIALLY ANN ARBOR, that in East Lansing they TEACH US HOW TO TIE OUR SHOES."

in East Lansing they TEACH US HOW TO TIE OUR SHOES.That's a graduate course, I'm guessing?

Upon further inspection, these are loafers.

(edit: sorry meant this as a reply to the MSU double knotted post.)
MSU actually has a foolproof plan to never give up a completion again:
"(Updated)
We all know the MSU Secondary, despite all the great progress they're making, could sometimes use a little extra help. With that in mind, a certain recent-Alum has come up with a great idea:
Every time the opposing team throws a pass,
EVERYONE IN THE STUDENT SECTION SCREAMS: "PASS"
Our brave football players in the Secondary have their backs turned, and can't see the pass, so when we scream, they'll know, and they'll swat that thing down.
Invite all your friends in your MSU network and spread the word. Come Notre Dame game, those Irish QB's won't be able to get a completion on us. Let's make this happen.
Go Green."

As long as they yell "Sparty, NO!" every time cousins throws a pass seems like it'll work out.
Idiots.

Congress needs to pass a bill making it a national holiday!

My GF was doing this until she tripped her way down the basement stairs this morning. It cannot have been pleasant to have a kayak break your fall at 6 am judging from the new swear words I learned.
I've had no problems though. The thing is you have to go full Denard and pull the laces up a bit, not just leave them untied and flopping around.
September 13th, 2010 at 6:03 PM ^
I had my shoes untied all day, even at work. However, I didn't let them just flop all over. I loosened my laces until there were was just the aglet sticking out of the last lace hole. Can't have my laces getting all dirty...

I work construction, but still had the boots untied today. I even got sent home because I refused to tie them! I lost 4 hours worth of pay, but since the safety jackass was a Notre Dame fan, it was worth the 4 hours! I sang The Victors all the way off the jobsite.......hopefully I have a job tomorrow! LOL
