There is no category for it. The only category name sufficient is: Denard.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:01 PM ^
Can anyone confirm the total season rushing stats for Denard and Fitz? Did they both eclipse 1000 yards?
November 26th, 2011 at 4:02 PM ^
They both got it. First time since 1979 that Michigan has two 1000 yard rushers!
November 26th, 2011 at 4:14 PM ^
Fantastic. Absolutely awesome.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:23 PM ^
Tremendous
November 26th, 2011 at 4:16 PM ^
Does this include the Western stats that the NCAA doesn't recognize?
Fitz had 81 yards that game. In any case he should get anything else he needs in the bowl game.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:25 PM ^
I think the NCAA believes that Fitz is still a bit short of 1000, but the B1G now officially has him as a 1000 rusher.

"Michigan finally beat its archrival because it had a better quarterback than Ohio State for a change."

Wow. Fuck off.
WE WON BITCHES WOOOOOHOOOOO
November 26th, 2011 at 4:05 PM ^
I'm so excited right now. This game was so important to us and he just played his best game ever so I'm going out on a limb and saying that's the best game any Wolverine has played against OSU period! #fucklogic
November 26th, 2011 at 5:06 PM ^
I'm excited too, but...best ever remains Tom Harmon in the 1940 game
November 26th, 2011 at 4:06 PM ^
So happy for him! Especially with all the negativity he received prior to the Nebraska game. I think things are starting to fall in place now.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:07 PM ^
Up there with Timmy B in my book.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:22 PM ^
Best ever.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:29 PM ^
over 37 carries, none of them longer than maybe ~30 yards
Tom Harmon also had a sick game in a previous generation
November 26th, 2011 at 6:57 PM ^
Sets up a TD with a catch, prevents on with an INT in the endzone, and of course, the return. All while almost completely shutting down one of the best receivers in the Country.

Chris Perry and Drew Henson were pretty awesome too.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:11 PM ^
Bob Chappuis, Jim Harbaugh, and Drew Henson are the only other M QBs to throw for 3 TDs against Ohio FWIW-
November 26th, 2011 at 4:12 PM ^
I really hope that he had his got it moment. If Nebraska and Ohio are any indicators of that then this guy is going to be extremely dangerous next year. He made very good decisions today and showcased his talents. If that Denard was playing in the MSU and Iowa games, well who knows. I am excited though, especially for Mike and Van B and Wfolk and Molk. These guys were here for the worst of the decline and hopefully they were here to be part of the upswing. WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! Good game!!!!
November 26th, 2011 at 4:34 PM ^
was an intentional strategy of not overusing him or exposing him too frequently to injury.
Before Fitz emerged, I believe Borges was looking for a viable 2nd non-Denard option.
Denard can run it 25+ times in any game and dominate it. But no one DRob's size is likely to be able to absorb the punishment that will inevitably come over the course of 300 carries.
I think we hit the Nebraska game, and Borges simply took the Denard-governor off.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:13 PM ^
Denard played a fantasic game. He was almost perfect as far as passing goes and he only missed a few reads in the running game. The only knock against him was the fumble.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:14 PM ^
That's as many yards per play we've had against Ohio since at least 2003 (i didn't want to go to Bentley to look it up). '03 and '06 were probably comparable offensive performances given an adjustment for defense quality.

Proudly rocking my Shoelace shirt. Thankfully I got mine before MGoStore was forced to pull them. Denard is the epitome of a Michigan Man. Couldn't be happier for him. He's definitely up there on my list of favorite all time Wolverines.
NARD WARS!
November 26th, 2011 at 4:19 PM ^
and a TD wiped out as well...coulda had 6 total... Denard played incredible today
November 26th, 2011 at 4:23 PM ^
He has solidified his spot in Michigan lore.

I can't help but remember this gem at times like these:
http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/denards-dropoff-production
Denard's been the man over the last quarter of the season and this was his best game as a Wolverine by far.
Every time OSU landed a blow, Denard countered. He booked his spot a member of "The Game" legends.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:33 PM ^
Denard Robinson has cemented his place as legendary.
Sure, he may lack the traditional skills we ascribe to Michigan quarterbacks, but he has been the rock of gibraltar for our program over the past three seasons.
Try to imagine this entire era without Denard; one simply can't! He has been the bright spot in an otherwise dismal stretch of football. He has been through the ups and downs, and now he finally took The Game in a five-touchdown performance.
Denard is a quintessential Michigan Man.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:39 PM ^
I had almost forgotten how great Denard was when he got his full on shimmy going. I'll never forget again.
November 26th, 2011 at 4:48 PM ^
Denard is on his way to being a legend. This win and his performance was HUGE for this season. I'll have fond memories of running on the field today forever!

The scene at South, U of M alumni bar in Santa Monica, was Amazing...I've been waiting 7 long years for this moment. Redemption is at hand! This team is one of my all time favorites and this game was a major turning point for this Program! Denard was in Beast Mode!
November 26th, 2011 at 4:55 PM ^
Agreed, but that avatar might need some changing...
November 26th, 2011 at 5:08 PM ^
Tied for most TDs in a game against Ohio all time. Third most rushing yards against them all time. He ranks as pretty good.
November 26th, 2011 at 5:18 PM ^
He had as many passing touchdowns as incompletions.
November 26th, 2011 at 7:11 PM ^
You'd think MGoBlue of all sites would know that Denard is a Junior:

Denard's DSR is gonna be like 70-80%. His stats today were just insane
14/17 for 167 yards 3 TDs 0 INTs
26 carries for 170 yards 2 TDs
That is clutch
