I had almost forgotten about the "I'll just take that, thanks" interception by Morgan in the UConn game last year. He followed it up with nearly a 30-yard return too, as I recall now, but yeah, it was definitely a highlight in that game.
Two weeks now....it seems so close now yet these two weeks will probably seem like the slowest of all as I wait for the season to start.

I haven't heard either way, but it's pretty unlikely they'd announce it this late.

With all the talk of our line backers I just realized this is the first year we haven't heard anything about freshmen LBs playing and it's nice. Sucks to see a player like Bolden is already a true junior and he may not start until he's a senior so I'm glad they are finally getting a chance to redshirt some of these LBs.

I've always liked the way Desmond Morgan carries himself. Just seems like a good guy.
I hope that he has a great year. Can't wait for the season to start!

Unless you're talking about his sophomore year.
He's practicing corner right now because Hoke and Mattison have agreed that he's got the NB spot down and they're comfortable with him there.
He's the starting nickel.
Now he's learning the CB spot so he can move into that role in the future.
Even next year, either he or Countess will be the NB and the other will start alongside Lewis.

end up starting there at any point in this season, damn. He'd be almost beyond the hype.
I would be tremendously surprised if that happened. Plus, he can do some serious damage at nickel.
