It's really pissing you off that people are over analyzing this short clip that shows nothing of any real consequence. Getting mad at people who are dumb is a waste of your energy and emotional capacity. They're the overwhelming majority after all. Here's an e-hug.

I think Miller will be good enough.  He won't overpower people, but he'll be in the right position and block the right guy.

His biggest strength is getting out and blocking a LB when that's his job.  I watched him closely in the spring game, and he goes full bore for the LB and always gets there.

If the defense makes a good play, is it because they're good or because the offense is bad? If the offense is moving the ball, is it because they're good or the defense is bad? We won't really know until the season starts.

It looks like everyone for the most part worries about offense. I myself am looking forward to seeing this defense in year 3 of the Brady Hoke era.
The goal is 3 yards and a cloud of dust and welcome back to controlling the clock and playing lights out defense.

Am I missing something or did they only show one Green carry where Kalis missed his block on Willie Henry? I don't know how anyone can read that much into one play.

I don't know anything about you but I suspect that you have no significant other, are in a dead end job, and have a face only a mother can love. How on Earth can I say these things? Well, you're very confrontational so having any kind of long term relationship seems to be out of the question. Someone who is confrontational to that degree is unhappy. The main perpetrator of sorrow in our society is a dead end job. Spending half or over half of your waking hours in a place that not only you loath, but such is the case for all employees of Ace brand bandages. Lastly, the easiest case to make would be that of a dog face. You post on a blog with hatred in every vowel and very rarely leave the consonants to frolic unmolested.

My mistake. How could I ever make such blind assumptions after only reading a small portion of your posts? Apologies from me to you and yours.

I was being sarcastic. I'm sorry I offended you by expressing my opinion about the weight of a Michigan player and then joking about how sensitive people get when someone brings up his weight.

On a personal note, I'm a happy married man with a great job. But I do like to joke around.

A power back over 240.. How the hell long have we been away from the power run game? Jesus, Carlos Hyde weighs more then that and he ran down hill and killed teams. We didn't recruit green to run away corners and safetys in the spread, we recruited him to run through linebackers and wear down a defense. This freak out bs needs to stop. He looks fine. If he was lookin like justice Hayes then I would be freaking out.

How come no one is outraged by this hideous new home jersey?!!!

Devin may be the only one wearing it now, but thats usually how it starts.  Fuck Dave Brandon!

year. Hopefully he will be leaner and stronger as the season progresses. We definitely need him in Novemember.

I am equally excited about Deveon Smith.

Avery getting lots of PT at the other saftey spot is interesting. Several times the big pass play was to the Taylor AND Avery side of the field. Whats goin on with Wilson? Fitz looks like a man on a mission. I like how zoomed in they were to the QB so you cant tell the formations lol.

than green. Ive been saying it for a while now, and yes im basing this off of more than this video. More pure runner, better vision, brandon minors number, its a wrap unless they give Green #32.

There's a flip side to most scrimmage plays.  A good offensive play may be good offense or bad defense.  A good defensive play may be good D or bad O.  But an individual making a big play is a good thing every time, at least as far as that individual player is concerned.  Gardner threw an accurate ball, at times even under pressure with a defensive player blanketing his receiver.  Hard to be negative about a few of those plays.  Toussaint looked like he had more burst than before he was hurt.  Maybe the blocking was good and maybe it wasn't.  He did OK with what space he had, I thought.  Chesson had a great catch, and it's hard to blame Countess because he didn't exactly leave Jehu much room.  A play like that I think looked good all the way around.  And I could go on.  Basically, though it is hard to tell whether a lot of plays are net positives or negatives, the individual players seem to look good for the most part.  Still not worth jumping to any conclusions on such a small sample size, but if you want to know whether you should come away feeling optimistic or pessimistic, I'd lean toward the former.

Beautiful pass to Reynolds(? #85) in the end zone... I honestly haven't been this giddy for the season to start since Henne was a freshman. Go Blue!

All you have to do is watch their high school films to settle this debate. If you cant decipher that Smith is head
And shoulders a better runner an more pure of a runner than green after watching those then you probably dont know the game or evaluate talent well...

And yes, Brady Hoke DID offer me a job as his recruiting coordinator, I turned it down to coach middle school...

Cause those guys are never wrong, it never ceases to amaze me that the players they rank get drafted IN THE EXACT SAME ORDER 4 years later. These guys are always spot on it, you are right...watch dude, smith will have tge better career, mark my word.

Green played in probably a top 5 conference in high school football against a ton of d1 kids. Smith played at warren howling.. They play in one of the smaller divisions in Ohio and the kids in his conference are not very big. Like 200lb on dline big. Yeah evaluating a kids hs film seems very logical considering green camped everywhere with the best players in the country.
