Yes it definitely assumes the conclusion in its premise.

Which begs another question. At what point does the misuse of a phrase become so ubiquitous - for example, "begging the question" - that the incorrect meaning of the phrase finally becomes the correct meaning of the phrase?

"Misuse began gathering legitimacy by 1839, when Charles Dickens wrote in Nicholas Nickleby that a character 'had literally feasted his eyes in silence on his culprit.' Before you knew it, Tom Sawyer was 'literally rolling in wealth,' and Jay Gatsby 'literally glowed.' Come on, the guy grew up in New York lake country, not a New Jersey toxic waste dump.

Thus, "'literally' has been misused for centuries, even by famed authors who, unlike youngsters posting duckface photos of themselves shot in their bathroom mirrors ('Your 2 sexy!'), had a good handle on the language."

Now there is no unknowing the rule. From now every time you hear it misused you will derail the conversation and correct the speaker because it will be torture to your ears, and all of your friends will stare.

If you mean he is a bigger kid, who is good at breaking tackles, and being physical, then yes I would agree.

Other than that, I dont see many similarities. Haskins has much better feet, I mean for a bigger kid with a lot of room still to put on mass, his feet are crazy nice. He also has much shorter legs, which also helps with his overall agility, and gives him a lower center of gravity.

I prefer this kid over all if the other options in this class. Please don't let the stars fool you, and those of you who have not watched his film really should.

He is a very good player, with adequite speed, and A++++ athleticism.

...I never really got it (his music anyway).

But he was an extremely smart, talented and interesting guy, and had a ton of talented musicians around him. I am a Steve Vai fan and every time I see him interviewed, he has some different crazy story about Frank, which always entertains and/or provokes thought.

My father (who I had no idea even knew who Frank Zappa was) had an astute quote about him once:  "He makes sounds nobody has ever heard before."

Underneath all of his off-the-wall satirical stuff, he was a serious musician.

Somewhat like Beilein (although basketball i KNOW is dirty) you'd think Harbaugh and his track record of getting guys to the NFL would translate better recruiting.  It blows my mind when OSU under Meyer (great coach but spread to run) can gradb five star QBs & TEs when they clearly wont get featured in the least in his offense.

Makes me wonder just a bit about our coaching staff to be honest. Not the big guy but the folks that report to him. Maybe the allure of being coached by Jay Harbaugh, especially at RB, isnt as enticing as we would hope.  Let's be honest with ourselves - #17 composite is not very good.

but some years the draft isn't really that deep. So in that case you target specific needs more than just percieved flash.

Im not saying this years crop of recruits isnt very deep. Im not really qualified to make that assessment. But maybe the top level guys just dont excite the staff as much as the star grade systems would indicate they should.

Alabama and Georgia are tied for 44th in the rough composite right now.  It's early, and one smaller, lower ranked class between 2 monster Top 5 classes is fine.

EDIT: In the updated 247 composite, Georgia is #12, Michigan is #14, and Bama is #24.

You mentioned OSU getting top end QB and RB recruits. Yet, who are their position coaches for those spots?
Surely they must be top end, elite position coaches right?
Or maybe blaming Jay is not warrantied.

We don't really have a recruiting ace anymore, on offense at least. I think losing Ty and Jedd hurt us significantly in that regard.

And I agree about Jay. If he's really ready to be a P5 position coach, let him get a job working for someone besides family.
