Craig James Running for U.S. Senate

Submitted by hart20 on

Craig James is planning on running for U.S. Senate in Texas. It'll be interesting to see how his alleged history with hookers affects the race.

Gromer M. Jeffers
Former SMU standout and ESPN personality Craig James will file in Texas for the Republican U.S. Senate primary by end of day Thursday.

Note: Remember no politics, so keep your opinions to yourself and just make fun of Craig James and his alleged hookers. Mods, apologies if you feel this thread crosses the boundaries, I realize it's straying close. Feel free to lock it or delete it. I just figured  that someone so central to MGoBlog culture warranted being mentioned.

Again, no politics.

I will gladly move to Texas and stuff the ballot box to get that clown in office if that will rid the world of his "expertise" on CFB Saturday.

All CJ needs to do is lock the other candidates in a hot shed in Lubbock. That will ensure victory... and that he gets all the HOOKERS!

Making jokes about Craig James killing 5 hookers is not an appropriate thing to do.  Besides, how do we even know if Craig James killed 5 hookers?  Has anyone ever gone on record and said "Craig James killed 5 hookers, and I saw it with my own eyes!" or "I know for a fact Craig James killed 5 hookers, and I have the evidence to prove it!"?  I don't think so.  So before we automatically assume that Craig James killing 5 hookers is real, I think we should not be so quick to judge.

Confirm that Craig James killed 5 hookers. Maybe I am reading between the lines too much but he just stated several times that Craig James killed 5 hookers.

Craig James running for office and the lack of evidence around the potential that Craig James killed five hookers could elevate his current Google situation up to the level of Santorum.   I think the Santorum Google problem is still the winner.  For Santorum everything about what comes up on Google under his name would seem to go against what he believes in.  For Craig James, we just do not have enough information about his feelings about hooker killings.  I don’t believe he has ever spoken on the record about his stance on this issue or the lack of evidence that Craig James killed five hookers.  Time will tell if the completely unsubstantiated rumor that Craig James killed five hookers appearing on Google will rival the Santorum issue.

What can be stated with absolute certitude is that there are at least five highly-disgruntled pimps who will now be throwing their considerable political weight behind the opposing Democratic ticket. And as we all know, as the likes of the esteemed Iceburg Slim and Archbishop Don Magic Juan go, so goes the great state of Texas. All of which is to say, that while executing 5 hookers in cold blood may have served to temporarily satisfy Craig James' unrelenting prostitute-derived bloodlust, it was certainly not a calculation made by him with an eye toward political expediency. No gentlemen, the skeletons in Mr. James' closet have now been unearthed, and unfortunately for the proposed Senator-elect, those skeletons are rocking clear heels...

It amazes me that in this day and age that one whom allegedly killed in excess (perhaps) of five hookers could run for such a prestigious office.  Senators and all politicians are probably the most ethical upstanding citizens in our great nation.  To have someone with this allegedly henious background simply astounds me.

This guy sucks. I cannot believe he has continued to be employed at ESPN. If he thinks he is qualified to be a US Senator, then there must be no qualifications at this point.

Why would he not be employed by ESPN?  He fits in perfectly there.

Colin Cowherd -- disciplined harassment and plagiarism problems.

Dana Jacobson -- suspended for alcohol and harassment problems.

Mike Tirico -- suspended for sexual harassment.

Harold Reynolds -- fired for sexual harassment.

Sean Salisbury -- let go (contract not renewed) for showing his penis to coworkers.

Michael Irvin -- let go for racist remarks.

Wood Paige -- mostly Denver Post scum, but suspended for sexual harassment

Steve Phillips -- fired for nailing the talent.

Eric  Kuselias -- let go for sexual harassment.

Jason Jackson -- fired for sexual harassment.

That's just the shit I could come up with off the top of my head.  What would Google say?

I didn't even talk about Lou Holtz (NCAA infractions at every stop) or Stephen A Smith (race baiter).  Why the hell wouldn't Craig James fit in P-E-R-F-E-C-T-L-Y at ESPN?  Craig James and ESPN looks like a match made in heaven to me.

I came into this late, but I'm happy to see that this has carried on for over 100 posts. I wonder if his opponents will bring up the allegations that Craig James KILLED FIVE HOOKERS WHILE AT SMU.

Why for the love of God can this post exceed 100 comments and not ONE of you guys mention that Craig James killed five hookers?  I thought everybody knew about it but i guess not from your glaring oversight of him killing the five hookers.

By the way...the fact that Craig James killed five hookers is now the number TWO item listed on Google quick-search.  Looks to me like the dirty little secret James has hidden for many years (the killing of the five hookers) is about to go mainstream.

It almost makes me think that he's only doing it because he's in on the joke now.

Or found a profession where killing 5 hookers is no big deal.

Someone needs to tell him that his version of "Happy Ending" is very different than the majority.  I guess it still released stress for him, but at least 5 dead hookers are certainly not amused.

Is this the same Craig James who helped SMU get the death penalty along with Dickerson?
