I love that we have another really smart WR.  I don't know if it was confirmation bias watching DPJ, knowing that his parents are both really intelligent, but it seemed like he made really good decisions this year.  I feel like the WR position is prone to lapses in judgement on blocking or route running, sitting down in zone, etc.  Having another kid come in at the position with some IQ will be very nice.  Not bagging on the other WR's at all, but these two strike me as being able to 'get it.'

It would be nice, but we are not exactly decimated even after losing Solomon.  If I am thinking of everybody, Michigan will have Dwumfour, Jeter, Kemp, Uche, Paye, and probably Hutchinson as rotation players next year.  From what I understand, both Hinton and Smith are talents that could also be freshman contributors.  Not as deep as in a couple of years in the past, but there are some dudes there.

From Hurst to those guys you listed isn't a lack of depth. It's a huge downgrade in talent. The middle wasn't good this year and losing Aubrey suggests it won't be next year either.

In any case, kids who don't want to be at Michigan should hit the road, so you can't worry about it too much.

Hurst wasn't Hurst until yrs 4 and 5. Dwumfour and Kemp will be a year better, and Jeter will be stronger and hopefully healthy. I'm not saying we will be better, but I don't know if Solomon was "all in" this past year anyway. He looked lackadaisical and disinterested when he wasn't injured anyway. With the addition of Smith, Hinton, Newburg and Morris we should be able to find some rotational guys.

Great addition...high upside, very talented kid who will have a big impact. Rounds out our target positions nicely. A lot of great news...time to get back into the holiday spirit.

Every time I think this program will never win another national championship they bring me back in with a huge recruiting class. Cannot undestimate the importance of winning primetime games AND having coaching stability for the first time in over a decade.
