Manning clearly knows what he's doing, alleviating whatever ethereal concerns bloomed over his coaching move.

Jehu Chesson appears to be getting an awful lot of balls thrown his way.

Hi guys.  I am using this old fashioned device called a computer and it works fine for me.

But if it hasn't been mentioned yet, please embed for those using newer technologies.

(serious note - the "share" function only is a direct link so some one computer-y would need to figure out how to embed)

Pretty sure MgoBlue put this out so mgobloggers would stop whining about Manning's lack of "qualifications" for the "position"

I like what I saw mind you a lot of those drills are with out a pass ruch so a lot of those catches were made in 7 on 7 type drills which always put DB's at a disadvantage but also make them better DB's

Corner should be strength for us this year. We at least have some talent and depth. Blake and Raymon are both in their 4th years in the program with any kind of improved coverage (and a pass rush) either could contend for All-Conference honors. Jourdan and Channing seemingly overmatched at times last year (4th quarter Penn State *sigh*) showed some promise and are bigger and should benefit from last years playing time, added weight and the sophomore bump. Delonte although undersized, he's tough, a good tackler and also his senior leadership should be a factor if only in practice. He has been a solid contributor in my book, albeit on special teams.

And although he's been running with the saftey group Brandon Watson has been getting some spring pratice hype. He has some size and maybe sees some time at the nickel as well. He was a standout at a couple of the 7 on 7 circuits at corner last year against great competition. When Breezy gets here, watch out! it seems like we will actually have a non anxiety inducing 3 deep at corner. When was the last time we could say that?

...Really liked!  I like the way Roy communicates.  He's very clear and direc and intenset, but in a relatable way.  I also like that he's young.  I can see the players respond well to his coaching.   I think between his coaching, his personality, and his recruiting ability, he was a great hire for UM.

Also, fwiw Lewis looks like he has great instincts, just wish he was bigger, and Stribling looks good.  I think he will be an awfully good corner in another year.

Tyrone Wheatley and Mike Hart both fit the bill...

This is GREAT stuff, excellent coaching and communication all the way around. Still plenty to learn, but he'll be a DC before his career is done.
