Finally we'll now be able to recruit on an equal footing with Ohio State because kids who were born in 2004 will be able to relate to '90s rappers.

I lived in Miami for several years. People up here don't realize that Luke is very influential in the youth and high school sports scene. After his rap career faded he used his money and influence to help bolster youth football leagues in the poorest parts of the city which is where the Uncle Luke moniker came from. Having a guy like that in your corner will definitely help gain inroads into the Miami high school football scene.

Good Old Luke Skywalker, founder of the rap you'd play at low volumes when your parents were home because you were terrified they would hear it.

Chris Webber mentioned on the All The Smoke podcast how his U of Detroit visit was one of his favorite college visits because Luke Skywalker happened to be throwing a party down the hall from the hotel room he was put up in Downtown Detroit
