Cinematic Highlights: Ohio State at Michigan
I always love the quality of the B1G networks "journey" series, its one of the coolest things about the network. Enjoy the dismantling of anOSU in 4k.

Cool video, thank you for sharing. They use radio audio with field level video, and they seem to apply a sepia color filter to give it a cinematic look to the video. Unique opposite end zone/field level shots that you would have to have special media access to shoot.
Footenote - actual video resolution is 720p, I don't see any higher resolution video option on YouTube.

Come on! You are embarrassing me! Lol
I wanted to use the cool kids phrase “in 4K”.
But yeah that’s B1G level access, when we win the championship we should get the season montage, it will be glorious.

You can see the intensity gap between us and them during the warm up pump up speeches. We are screaming and they are talking.

Must Watch! This is 100% pure fucking awesomeness!

Now THIS was an awesome post. Thank you OP for punching through the hubris to put this one up.

I'm not sick of watching these yet.

Fifty years later after the game, I still get goosebumps watching the replay of Billy Taylor's game-clinching TD against the Buckeyes in 1971, and I was in the stadium that day.
You'll never get sick of watching the 2021 highlights for the rest of your days. No real Michigan fan will.

Lucky you. While I've seen LOTS of Michigan victories over OSU in the Big House over the years when I was a student there (78-81) we split 2-2, winning both games in Columbus and losing both games in Ann Arbor.
Best one personally was 97 followied closely by 95. And 95 was so sweet because they were all SURE they were going win until touchdown timmy had something to say about it.
Kinda like this year if you think about it.

I had my share of OSU heartbreak in Michigan Stadium. I was at the 10-10 tie in 1973, which was massively disappointing since we had two FG chances to take the lead in the final minutes of the game. Franklin's injury led to the decision to send OSU to the RB.
In 1975 the Buckeyes scored two touchdowns in the final 3 minutes to squeak out a 21-14 victory, which was the fourth straight year we came away winless against OSU.
I watched us win 14-6 in '77, but then had to watch fucking Art Schlicter beat us in '79, with the help of a lousy Michigan kicking game.

Cackle with glee every time I watch any of those highlights.
Interesting angle on the JSN behind the back circus catch. From field level that ball looks questionably loose in his arm when his body presses into the turf. Don’t care, doesn’t matter. Won the game.
Go Blue forever.

Yeah I caught that, (pun intended)
I think the announcers said the ball touched the ground but it was under control. Fair enough.
It was a heck of a catch, but better win.

GAH!!! See, this is why I dislike the firewall configuration when I'm at work! Will have to watch this when I get home - but thanks for letting us know it's there!

Be thankful - Maybe you will be somewhat productive today. I don't want to do anything except hang out on this blog.

Too late for careful... I think I've answered every thread!

I'll say it again..... take away the incredible circus catches (three maybe four of them) and stroud has a mediocre game. put a little pressure on him and he's not all that he's cracked up to be.
Just like pryor when they took his legs away and made him throw the ball.
November 30th, 2021 at 11:25 AM ^
I don’t know about that. Pressure affects every QB, even Tom Brady.
But that stroud kid is a good one, in the snow he threw for 400/2 TD while getting rag dolled by hutch.
IMO that’s pretty impressive any way you slice it. I was convinced he would throw a few picks in the second half.
November 30th, 2021 at 12:29 PM ^
I'll give the kid his credit - he's a true freshman! Honestly, as well as Michigan played, I can also give credit to OSU - that offense was a threat on every play - those guys didn't quit like their defensive brethren did. They just didn't know how to handle what Michigan was giving them. If Stroud stays in that offense for another couple of years, some NFL team is going to like its draft choice.

All I can say is WOW! That's as good as it gets. Got me all choked up. Just so happy for those kids, those coaches, and for Michigan fans everywhere.

I pray that the whole team didn't contract the flu in that mass of bodies on the field at the end.

36 seconds into this video you can see where the game was decided. Michigan's pregame huddle vs OSU's.
